Despite more than half a century of human exploration, space is still an unknown and mysterious phenomenon that does not get tired of throwing new mysteries to its researchers. Including those for which scientists cannot give any intelligible explanations. Among them, not the last place is occupied by mysterious phenomena that many cosmonauts see or hear. And more recently, their words are confirmed by the records recorded by the technique.
UFO accompanies the spaceship
A report submitted to the state commission in 1981 by the pilot-cosmonaut V. Kovalenok has survived. Together with his partner V. Savinov on May 5, he was on board the Soyuz-6 spacecraft, making routine observations and recordings. During the spacecraft's flight over Africa, the astronauts saw next to it, conventionally - below, a small object. According to their estimates - no more than a finger.
The object glowed, performed incomprehensible pirouettes, but moved at the same speed as the spacecraft (about 28 thousand km / h). The pilots prepared equipment for photographing, but did not manage to take pictures: the strange object underwent a metamorphosis. It was like a slow explosion, leaving behind a very beautiful foggy ball. He gradually lagged behind the ship, changing shape and shape. There was no response to the report: no one could somehow scientifically substantiate what they saw.
Oddities at Mir Station

In 1990, Mir space station personnel recorded one of many unexplained events. At that moment, the station was over Newfoundland, where the weather was truly paradise. Nevertheless, observers from Mir saw a flash, similar in brightness to lightning, but not having a characteristic branching shape. The light gave rise to a semblance of a shining sphere, which lasted about ten seconds, and then melted.
A year later, a professional camera filmed a certain substance “peeling off” from the surface of the station, forming into something like a needle or antenna, and moving away into the depths of space. No launches were made from the station at this moment. And the movement was too slow and smooth.
Sounds in space
Many astronauts do not see anything strange, but they hear voices and sounds that clearly have nothing to do on board the ship.
A pair of Soviet astronauts conscientiously recounted mysterious circumstances in a daily report. In the morning, both heard the clearly pronounced "great, guys", and after a while - the question "have you been sitting here for a long time?" Both crew members took up notepads and pencils as instructed. However, there was no verbal continuation. But the video player turned on by itself, reproducing the beloved by all cosmonauts of the Union "White Sun of the Desert".
Space pilot Volkov clearly heard the barking of a dog, replaced by children's crying and someone's voices. True, he could not make out what they were talking about.

Modern classification of space ghosts
With the advent of powerful recording equipment, observers were able to record mysterious ghostly substances. There is especially abundant evidence of their appearance in near-earth orbit. Most extraterrestrial ghosts appear for a very short time, less than a second. However, there are so many such phenomena that American observers even managed to systematize them.
The three groups of ghosts do not appear very often. The formations that looked like rings of a reddish hue were called Elves. The ghost, reminiscent of a fountain rushing upward, became known as the Blue Jet. The other two species have a jellyfish-like appearance. The red version was named Tiger, and the blue version became known as Sprite.
Excellent photos of Tiger were taken in 2003, about a week before the crash that overtook the shuttle Columbia.
The frames, which clearly show the Sprite, were brought by the summer of 2005. They managed to get the staff of Duke University in Colorado. The pictures were taken at a previously impossible speed of 5000 frames per second. On them you can clearly see the amorphous translucent substance, which really repeats the outlines of the earthly jellyfish.
However, when it was possible to repeat the survey, but at a speed twice as fast as the previous one, it turned out that the "jellyfish" is not an integral form. It consisted of many spherical lumps moving up and down at a tremendous speed (1/10 of the speed of light). Behind these "balls" there is some kind of train, as if the substance constituting the clots is pouring out of them.
It is natural that there are no explanations for the phenomena. So far, even convincing theories are lacking.
Is Saturn a branch of the Underworld?
The ghosts have occupied not only the near-earth orbit. They are also observed in deeper space. In 2004, a probe called "Cassini" was launched to Saturn, equipped with the most modern equipment at that time. Once again, the superior quality images puzzled scientists. They found a strange object located at the north pole of the planet. It has the shape of a hexagon and constantly revolves around its axis. Moreover, in the direction opposite to the rotation of the planet.
The 2008th added mysteries from Saturn: rings were discovered over the formation, periodically twisting into spirals. In parallel, radio signals appeared that were missing earlier. Since they are not perceived "by ear" by humans, they had to be transferred to the sound range. It turned out that the playback speed is prohibitive. And when the scientists slowed it down, they were shocked: against the background of the noise characteristic of a hurricane, groans, desperate screams and bitter crying were clearly distinguishable. They were accompanied by uterine, on the verge of infrasound, terrifying growl. According to those who heard this, such sounds can only be made in the Underworld.
"Hell" in the Sun
Scientists immediately remembered the report of astronauts, in 1978, studying solar flares using a spectroheliograph. Before their eyes, there was a powerful release of helium, the column of which reached a height of 800 thousand km and suddenly froze.
For more than a minute, the horrified people watched thousands and millions of faces frozen in unbearable agony. Information about this event was classified and became known to the general public only in 1985. A decade later, NASA, using a super-powerful telescope, filmed many ghosts near the sun. Moreover, among them were not only people, but also animals. Similar footage is available from the spacecraft launched to study Neptune.
Hypotheses and assumptions
Not being able to explain ghostly objects and incomprehensible sounds, scientists still try to put forward plausible theories.
Hypothesis one: materialistic
Hans Nelsen, the leader of the Sprite group, believes that ghosts are the result of chemical reactions, perhaps as yet unknown to earth science. In his opinion, near-earth "ghosts" can influence the processes taking place in the atmosphere of our planet. For example, change the climate and "dissolve" the ozone layer. The scientist does not explain the sound "design" in any way.
The second hypothesis: physiological
This version is one of the first put forward after the stories of astronauts at the end of the last century. According to it, microwave radiation has a certain effect on the observer's brain. Because of this, a change in consciousness occurs. Simply put, the person begins to hallucinate.
Such an explanation would be appropriate if the "visions" of the astronauts were not confirmed by photographs and sound recordings. Meanwhile, photographs of strange objects have been preserved since the 90s; and the recording of the "drumbeat" is present on tapes from the ISS.
Hypothesis three: theological
It was put forward by the Spaniard Pedro Garcia, a world-renowned theologian. He suggested that the closest part of the universe (at least the solar system) is set aside for purgatory. Here souls after death await the final judgment for the sins committed during their lifetime.
An alternative to Garcia's theory is the opinion of a certain physicist who published the objections, but decided not to disclose his name. He claims that the observed forms are electrical impulses, which are the true life essence. In essence, the soul. Only a physicist believes that it has no end and no beginning, and after the death of the flesh shell, electricity is simply sent into space, from where it came to Earth.
Hypothesis four: alien
Its author is Alain de Voliere, who has written 11 works on contact with aliens. In his opinion, we see representatives of extraterrestrial intelligence in the pictures.
Future generations will have to judge who is right. Perhaps the truth lies in a completely different plane, about which we do not yet have the slightest idea.
