Elementary and high schools in the Zimbabwean province of South Matabeleland have closed as their students have suffered from goblin attacks. In total, four educational institutions have stopped working, AllAfrica.com reports.
The decision to shut down the schools was made after a series of attacks by fearsome creatures. According to a local elder, the children panicked and it became impossible to continue with their lessons. The first attacks took place in August 2013, and by October many parents had stopped taking their children to class.
When the schools will resume classes, it is not reported. It is known that the director of one of the schools notified the Ministry of Education about the incident. Educators consult with elders and decide what to do next. According to the keepers of traditions, the appearance of the goblins indicates that witchcraft is practiced in the region.
Many Zimbabweans believe in evil spirits, including goblins. The closure of schools in connection with attacks by these creatures was not the only such incident. So, in the winter of 2013, it was reported that employees of a clinic in Zimbabwe refused to go to work, as goblins rushed at them.
By the way, taking into account the recent death of a child at the hands of "goblins", it can be assumed that under the goblins in Zimbabwe they have long accepted the phenomenon of an aggressive poltergeist, which may indeed be the result of witchcraft.
