Probably everyone has read about various security robots and others who simply could help people. Our civilization began to make such robots, in fact, quite recently, but they existed much earlier.

I'll start with some legends, and later on to the facts. So, according to numerous writings and legends, the Egyptian Sphinx, known to all, was a robot and defended the pyramids, as well as the entrance to the dungeons of the Giza plateau.

It may sound dubious, but you should not assume that this is just a legend and fiction. Firstly, we know that there is something inside the sphinx, there are holes in the head and in one of the paws, if I'm not mistaken. That is, there may be some mechanism, which obviously does not work in our time.

In general, apart from legends, there are strange texts from people. Many texts say that the Sphinx had an entrance to the underground, but the entrance was open only to a select few, in addition, it was guarded by a strange invention described directly as a modern robot.

But all this is only a version of the purpose of the sphinx. Unfortunately, we have no obvious confirmation that this is a robot. And now, let's move on to the times of Ancient China and already real robots.

First, an interesting chronicle dating back to 2600 BC, written during the reign of Emperor Huang Di. Let me remind you that the annals are one of the truest sources of real history, if not the only such source.

As a rule, historians have practically not studied and do not study the chronicles, but this is not the point. Now to the content, which says that a star allegedly fell into the valley of the Yellow River, but apparently it was a ship.

People saw how strange creatures emerged from the ship, along with a four-eyed and six-armed creature from a copper head and antennas. This creation is described exactly like a robot.

It all sounds quite plausible, although many probably find it hard to imagine even in their heads. But I will continue. Next, there will be a chronicle dating back to around 970 BC.

Which talks about a robot that entertained Emperor Mu. He could sing, dance himself, and also interestingly, he practically did not differ from a person, a robot with hair, skin and even bones is described.

There are references to robots that could perform more complex tasks. And some performed daily tasks to save the owner from unnecessary work.

What conclusion can be drawn? All the emperors were real people and there is information about them, on this basis I am sure that the chronicles fully describe the events of the past.

But robots were made almost 4 500 thousand years ago, but we started to create them quite recently. That is, the technologies and craftsmen of that time were better developed than ours and could create a lot.

Of course, someone may say that these are just chronicles and inventions of ancient people, but for me this is a strong argument to believe in the events and inventions of the past, and, accordingly, the level of technology development.
