The Adam's Bridge was already so named by our civilization and was discovered by us, namely NASA in 2003, using satellite imagery.

Although as far as we know, many residents of Sri Lanka and India knew about the existence of the crossing, both from legends and in reality, already 100-150 years ago.

The ferry is located in the Indian Ocean and, as you might guess from the above, connects Sri Lanka and India. The bridge is almost 50 kilometers long and its width varies from 1.5 to 4 kilometers. Although it seems to me, where is 1.5 kilometers, there is simply a higher water level and the crossing is under water.

Now that I have told all the basic information, you can already move on to interesting facts. For a start, it is interesting that based on the maps of the past (approximately XIV-XV centuries) the bridge was completely land, that is, there was no water at all.

Now the bridge is a little flooded and if in some places the depth reaches the knee, in other parts it is already above the belt and it will simply not be possible to pass.

If you believe the scientists, then roughly in the 16th century a natural disaster occurred, which is why the crossing is now flooded. But now the most important question is why the man-made crossing is practically not disputed?

As the researchers note, and just people who have been there, the bridge is built of stones from small to already large enough, together with sand.

The stones are both under the sand, there and on the surface, but the fact is that it is unlikely that nature could put them in a line, in the form of a ferry, and quite accidentally connect the island with the continent.

After that, the next question arises, if it was built by someone, then who, and most importantly, when? As for the age, then of course it is unknown. Some claim that the bridge is tens of thousands of years old, others estimate it in millions, but it is impossible to know the true age.

But by whom it was built, everything is already a little more interesting. I don't really want to touch on the religion and legends of the inhabitants of Asia, but there are many versions, one of which believes that the bridge was built by something like the demigods of warrior monkeys, reaching a height of 8 meters.

Let religion remain a religion and everyone has their own faith, but it is worth giving credit to the version with representatives of the "huge civilization". Why was it necessary to build a bridge of such a huge width, if it was created by ordinary people, with an average height of 1.6-1.7 meters?

Why spend so much effort on creating unnecessary width, if for thousands of years ancient people did not have any technology, and people themselves are small? This question makes you seriously think.

After that, the version with monkeys or another civilization of huge growth already seems more believable. In addition, there are enough megalithic structures of antiquity on Earth, which are too huge for people and are simply not needed on such a scale.

What conclusion can be drawn? Although the age is unknown, I will assume (just assume, without facts) that it was created in the distant past. Although the closest estimate gives the bridge 20,000 years, others are already gone for millions.

After age, it seems to me quite plausible that the crossing was built by an ancient civilization, much larger than humans, otherwise the size of the bridge raises many questions.

Just over 10 thousand years ago, according to many ancient sources, there was a Borean civilization, for which this bridge is more or less suitable.

In any case, the age of the bridge, even an approximate one, is simply unknown, so it is difficult to draw any conclusions, you just need to know about its existence and that someone once created it.
