Periodically, there are panic rumors about the impending end of the world. After December 21, 2012, the date on which the Mayan calendar ends, the panic subsided somewhat, but recently, apocalyptic predictions obtained both by clairvoyance and scientific calculations have been cited again. The famous French medieval astrologer Michel Nostradamus is still considered the most authoritative seer in the history of mankind. Seraphim Vyritsky's prediction
Many of the prophecies of the Monk Seraphim Vyritsky came true down to the details. In 1939 he wrote a poem "A Thunderstorm over the Russian Land", in which he described the destruction of churches and the persecution of Orthodoxy that took place during the Great Patriotic War. However, later the shrines will be restored, Father Seraphim wrote, Orthodoxy will re-establish itself in Russia, and Christian radio stations will even appear in Moscow and St. Petersburg (which at that time was still Leningrad).

Astronomers do not like to dwell on apocalyptic topics, but at the same time, they do not completely exclude the possibility of a global cataclysm that can destroy the Earth. So, they say, in 2029, a giant asteroid Apophis will fly close to our planet. If it deviates slightly from the original trajectory, then in 2036 it is destined to collide with the Earth, which will lead to the death of all living things … But let's hope that in the foreseeable future nothing bad will happen.
