This bizarre geological find in Siberia has already had an impressive impact on the scientific world and the public. Theories about extraterrestrial life, dinosaur eggs and even the relics of ancient civilizations appear around. However, scientists are making every effort to understand what these "Jurassic pearls" really are.
Siberia - the birthplace of alien spheres?
Ten stone spheres were found at a depth of about thirty meters in the Sereulsky open pit coal mine in the Nazarovskaya Oblast of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in Russia. And if it seemed to you that they did not look extraterrestrial enough, then you should look at them during the rain - they change color to rusty brown. This happens, however, due to iron oxide, which is part of their composition.
Local scientists have already begun to study the find to determine what exactly these stone spheres are. So far, it is clear that they formed naturally over millions of years. These spheres are thought to represent what is called "calculus," that is, solid sedimentary bodies of minerals that form around a solid core such as a stone. From the moment these objects were removed from the mine, they were placed along the road leading to it for everyone to see.
