Experts from the UK believe that water is a dangerous source of allergies for millions of people around the world.
After a series of extensive studies, British scientists have established that water has the ability to cause severe allergic reactions. It can lead to the development of water urticaria, which cannot be treated without medical attention. The very procedure for such treatment requires both the fight against the affected areas of the body and directly with the allergy.
The inflammation can last from one to several hours, and in the case of especially acute cases, several days or even weeks.
Scientists emphasize that the first case of the disease was recorded in 1963 in a 15-year-old girl. Bathing caused bleeding ulcers on the surface of her skin.
At the moment, scientists have already established that this can happen in girls in adolescence at the time of puberty. The main reason for this allergy is genetic predisposition. This phenomenon is less common among boys. It is extremely dangerous to ignore the onset of an allergy, since an inflammatory process of any type carries a potential threat to human health and life.
At the same time, it is noted that there are several million people with water allergies in the world. And many of them are not even aware of it.
