Most religions say that Hell is deep underground, however, no specific data is called, as well as about the exact temperature there. Scientists from the University of Maryland propose to place hell at the center of the earth and thus get an answer to one of these questions.
The exact figures for the temperature in the center of the Earth have not yet been named, but it is approximately 5000-6000 degrees Celsius. This is enough to melt ferrous metals.
Since the soul is ephemeral, it cannot dissolve under the influence of temperature. Therefore, if there is really such a temperature in Hell, it is really doomed to eternal suffering.
However, the fact is that the energy reserve in the center of the Earth is not unlimited, and by 2025 scientists expect to know exactly how many more years it will last. When it dries up completely, the Earth as a planet will become as dead as the Moon. And then, according to logic, Hell will cease to be a terrible place with eternal fire. But this is a topic for a different, very detailed discussion, which is beyond the scope of this study. And in principle, the dispute between religion and science has been going on for a very long time and it is far from the fact that it will ever end.
