Mentally ill people are more prone to genius deeds than healthy people. This was stated by American scientists who began to study this issue.
Experts analyzed the actions of individuals who suffer from dyslexia or Asperger's syndrome. In the course of the study, scientists from the University of Iowa managed to find out that it is people with mental disabilities who are more likely to commit brilliant acts.
Experts explain that there is some connection between disease and genius. They explain the theory that experts have developed by the fact that differences that are observed in the brain during autism or dyslexia can provoke an increase in creativity. That is, the stronger the mental illness, the more ingenious thoughts.
The study involved 30 mentally ill and absolutely healthy people. In the course of the study, scientists were able to find out that people with disabilities found creative solutions much faster than healthy people.
