Scientists have repeatedly developed and published the classification of people, focusing on their appearance, behavior, attitudes, functions (C. G. Jung), nature and associated diseases (E. Bak), school types of children (P. F. Lesgaft), socionic types (A. Augustinavichute), etc. However, for a wide range of people, the methodology of S. Dellinger - a specialist in the preparation of US management personnel - is of serious practical interest - it allows one to determine the typology of the person of interest by his appearance, behavioral features (striving for leadership, sociability, discipline), according to his speech, "body language" (the nature of posture, gait, gestures), etc. (Fig. 1).

Figure: 1. The main types of people in terms of Psychogeometry (by S. Dellinger).

Figure 1 shows four figures of psychogeometry according to S. Dellinger's system. The top figure is "Square". This is a person of instruction, logic, whom we conditionally call the "Executor". Behaves correctly, calmly, solidly. She always comes to school and work on time and leaves on time. He performs all assigned tasks on time. Below - "Circle". Emotional, emphatically benevolent, psychologists call him "The Artist". And this is a different person, with his own logic, outlook on life, his own approaches to solving problem situations. The third figure - "Triangle" (there are a lot of these in sports and business) - "Manager" with a strong-willed, domineering character and exorbitant ambitions. And the opposite figure - "Zigzag" - "Generator of ideas", thin, uncoordinated, impractical, busy with some of their problems and often absent in the present.

The relationship between physique and psychology of human behavior, scientists have identified unequivocally (E. Kretschmer), and this applies not only to humans. For example, when zoologists wanted to breed a breed of friendly foxes that could live at home, then after many years of selection and selection they got a variety of dogs (with the loss of aggressiveness and fearfulness, the animal also lost its other qualities - beautiful fur and ceased to be a fox). Consequently, the same genes in the body are responsible for both physiological and psychological processes.

And observing the external appearance of a partner, one can say a lot about his character (Table 1).

A person's belonging to a certain psychogeometric figure can, as a rule, be determined visually already in the first minutes of contact with him, preferably in a significant situation (an important conversation, dispute, scandal), when a person does not hide his true face behind a mask of decency or imposed stereotypes of behavior. And then, focusing on the signs in Table 1, you can classify your interlocutor as a certain type. The figure by which you select, for the person you are interested in, more features - "leading function" (for example, D). A person is confident in himself in this particular area, easily navigates and calmly transfers jokes to himself.

The second figure, lying side by side (on the right or left in a circle) and having collected the second sum of signs, specifies the type of person's personality (for example, D [_] or DO). Psychologists call it “Productive” or “creative function”. This is an area of active action aimed at the outside world. What is in third place for a person, that is, the "third function" - always attracts his attention, sometimes is an aspiration, claims (often unrealizable), is sometimes chosen as a direction of work, often causes laughter and irritation of others. It is through this channel that a person perceives pressure very painfully. This is the "Point of Least Resistance". And always excessively weak - "the fourth function" - causes suffering, pain, where a person is mercilessly criticized and the easiest to suggest.

In the first and second, that is, the leading functions of a person, there is hidden what can be called his “soul” and vocation, which brings maximum success in life, joy, happiness. And in order to understand a person, to communicate with him on the “level of the soul”, to help him understand himself, you need to very accurately learn to determine his type.

The easiest way is to first identify the weakest link and then, focusing more on physique than on ambition, establish the strongest function on the left or right in a circle, then the second and determine exactly the typology of a person. After identifying and clarifying the type of personality, it is important to note the degree of manifestation of certain qualities (Table 2).

The severity of functions in humans

Table 2.

Figure 2 shows examples of possible combinations of the development of certain personality traits. Above (2-a) presents the results of a survey of a "typical athlete" of a triangular-square type (shaded rectangles) who played sports in childhood, showed some signs of leadership and became a middle-level tourism manager in adulthood. All personality traits have been developed in the process of life.

Figure: 2. Examples of combinations of development of certain personality traits

Figure: 2. Examples of combinations of development of certain personality traits.

Figure 2-b is a bully-fighter with sadistic inclinations; all his other qualities are at a low level. "Talent" in a fight makes his life and the life of those around him unbearable. Although in boxing, under favorable situations, this person would have certain prospects.

In fig. 2-c shows the result of the examination of a child, whose teachers call him "Gray Mouse". Quiet, unremarkable, not gifted child.

It should be noted that it is troublesome for society and teachers to tinker with individuals in whom one of the qualities is highly developed. In this case, the "square" may be more erudite than teachers and more responsible than the boss who directs it. "Triangle" will become the leader of the group, and it will be impossible not to reckon with him. "Zigzag" will constantly knock down the team with its stunning ideas. And "Circle" is to entertain and amuse others. Very troublesome, isn't it?

It is safer for society, school, institute, coaches, and often parents, to deal with a gray, mediocre, nothing distinguished from the general mass of a creature, a cog, voiceless and inconspicuous, easily replaceable in the soulless mechanism of any plant, factory or sports team.

And society quite succeeded and succeeds: monotonous hairstyles, monotonous films on TV, monotonous work, monotonous salary or pension, etc. The “leader of all times and peoples” I. V. was especially aggressive with those who stood out from the “gray mass”. Stalin.

Is it good or bad not to stand out and be average?

This phenomenon was very vividly illustrated by the doctor of psychological sciences A. Panchenko: “There are different breeds of dogs: there are large animals, there are small, domestic ones; there are short-haired, and there are long-haired, shaggy."

- “What will happen if all these qualities are averaged? What do we get ???.

- "The mongrel !!!"

Therefore, when we forcefully break the individuality of a child, trying to level out his bright features, we “dump” him, turning him into a gray, inconspicuous person, into a cog and nothing more.

The task of a smart teacher, parent, leader is quite different: how to choose a socially acceptable field of activity ("ecological niche") for this bright personality, where she would have the maximum success, and how to design a direct, clear path to this success.

And just like in a farm where a dog exists for protection, and a cow, in order to give milk, is extremely stupid and even criminal to demand milk from a dog, and train a cow to take a scent. Alteration of nature, both animal and human, will do nothing but harm.

The problem is aggravated by the fact that there is a certain relationship between the personality typology and the development of energy centers (chakras). For the "Circle" the assemblage point of energies is located in the sexual center (Svadhisthana), for the "Triangle" in the solar plexus (Manipur), the "Squares" collect energies in the throat chakra (Vishuddka) and Joseph Kobzon is able to sing continuously at 20 degrees of frost 8 -10 hours - it proved. And for the “Zigzag”, the assemblage point of energies is located in the eyebrow (Ajna).

It should be noted that S. Dellinger's psychogeometry has ignored a very important heart center (Anahatu), and a crown center (Sahasrara), which opens the way to expanding this technique, as well as to further describe and study the "Heart Man" and "Wise Man".

Figure: 3. Typology of personality and human energy

Figure: 3. Typology of personality and human energy.

Energy, as shown by numerous publications, is associated with physique, interests and performance in a certain area of human activity, stable personality traits, and, accordingly, with a predisposition to certain diseases.

Vocational guidance of a person, taking into account his typology. Analysis of the reality around us shows that there are no, and there were no bad personality types. For young children in school, the best class teacher will be the teacher of the "zigzag-round" typology. Bright, artistic, non-standard - it will evoke sincere love of first-graders. Four years later, and the child will go to sports. What kind of teacher does he need? - Already a "round-triangular" typology, which will shape his ambitions when performing at competitions.

A few more years will pass and in the final grade, the school director will prepare children "squarely" for admission to higher educational institutions. And at the university, students will find themselves with "zigzag-square" associate professors and professors, preparing them for innovations that will appear in 10-20 years.

Thus, there are no bad teachers, there are people “out of place”. Any person, if he meets sufficiently wise and patient teachers, is able to be useful, achieve a high position in society, occupy "his" socio-ecological niche and be happy (Table 3).

Career guidance taking into account the type of person's personality

As can be seen from Table 3, if a person correctly develops his strengths in the interests of society, then he achieves the recognition of others. At the same time, it is necessary to draw the attention of teachers that even with the purposeful development of negative personality traits, hushing up shortcomings, an egoist grows up, dangerous for society. "Triangle", as it has already been covered, grows into an egoist or a bandit with sadistic inclinations; "Zigzag" - in hippies; "Circle" - a glutton and an intriguer; "Square" is an inveterate bureaucrat.
