A new case of a collision with a mysterious Chicago humanoid creature is reported by the UFO Clearinghouse website, which collects eyewitness accounts of encounters with UFOs and unusual creatures.
The author of this site is a researcher of anomalous phenomena Manuel Navarette, who has been studying the UFO phenomenon for more than 20 years and since the spring of 2017 has been keeping statistics on encounters with the Chicago "Moth Man" - a black flying humanoid creature with red eyes.
A new incident happened on October 27, 2017 in Chicago's Piotrowski Park at about 22.30. A guy and a girl aged 21 decided to take a walk in the park after work. They arrived there each in their own car and, dropping into the parking lot, sat in the guy's car for a while and chatted about different things while listening to music.
Suddenly, something hit their car from behind. The girl and the guy were very surprised by this, since so late there were no other cars in the parking lot, except for the girl's car, and there were no other people nearby.
“My boyfriend was about to get out of the car to see what could hit his car, and at that moment something with a sound landed right on the soot of our car in front of the windshield. We looked ahead and both screamed in horror as two large bright orange eyes were looking at us. The very same creature was in silhouette similar to a man, only behind his back it had something like wide-set large wings. It was completely black."
The creature attacked the windshield several times, as if it were trying to get inside the car. The girl's boyfriend finally came to his senses and turned on the flashlight that was in his glove compartment, pointing it directly at the head of this creature. The black creature at that moment screamed loudly "as if several people were screaming at once", flew up from the hood of the car and disappeared into the darkness.
“After that, two more times in a minute we heard him screaming nearby, as if he was flying somewhere above us, and then finally there was silence. We were both scared, but I cried with fear and for some time was afraid to get out of the car, because I thought that this creature might attack me."

The guy and the girl sat in the car for another 15 minutes, after which the girl carefully got into her car, accompanied by her boyfriend, who immediately after drove his girlfriend to her car, ran back to his car as quickly as possible.
“I've never been so scared in my life,” the girl continues the story. “As soon as I got to my house, I climbed into the bathroom and calmed down. Then my friend and I talked about this incident for a long time, when on Monday we went to work, and in the evening I decided to look on the Internet if someone else had met this creature. And I was shocked when I saw that there were many such messages."
At the end of her message, the girl writes that she is ready to discuss her incident in detail with a specialist and show the exact place where it happened. She is afraid to discuss such things with someone else, as such conversations about "strange things" can threaten her with dismissal and threats to her family.
Since the spring of 2017, over a dozen reports of encounters with a strange large flying humanoid creature with red eyes have been received from Chicago. Someone considers him an analogue of the foreshadowing misfortune of the Man-Moth from Point Pleasant, someone calls him the Devil, a ghost, a phantom, etc.
Skeptics are sure that behind these messages are either outright inventions, or they were meetings with owls or large bats.
