Children see the world a little differently, a fact. They do not have a narrow-mindedness of consciousness and thinking, they are not yet familiar with the cliches and patterns along which the thoughts of an adult move. From this, their "small" brains give birth to sometimes unique things that literally change our world.
Water skiing
Once a teenager Ralph Samuelson came up with a simple thought (which for some reason did not occur to any adult): why can skis move only in the snow. And if you try to ride them on the water?
Since then, his invention, of course, has undergone improvements and modifications - and the bindings have become different and the skis themselves are now made wider than the "winter" ones, but the number of fans is growing every year.
Calculator

Blaise Pascal is known to many both from school and those whose activities are related to computers. Mostly, of course, thanks to the language named after him - PASCAL.
But Blaise at the age of 18 also invented such a thing as the well-known calculator. Of course in his time it was a device with many gears, but the concept was correct. The truth came "at the wrong time": "Pascaloine", the world's first mathematical calculator, was waiting in the wings for another three hundred years.
Fruit ice
Accidents are common in the world of discovery. It happened in this case as well. At the beginning of the twentieth century (in 1905), the boy Frank Ipperson, made himself a glass of lemonade fizzy.
And then he put it down to cool and ran out into the street. After playing until late, Frank remembered his lemonade only in the morning. And he was amazed to find him frozen to a solid state. This is how one of the world's favorite baby treats was born.
The television
Adult "patent wars" and "big money" have robbed the inventor of "all-electronic" TV of this proud name. But they did not diminish the fact that fifteen-year-old Philo Farnsworth in 1922 told his teacher the idea of a dissecting tube.
And then for four years he worked to improve his invention - a completely electronic system for receiving and transmitting television signals. The rights to which he eventually had to sell, he was unable to compete with the "adults".
Braille
Apparently this is one of the most necessary and important inventions made by children. Louis Braille, 15 years old, lost his sight in a car accident at the age of five.
Not desperate and willing to improve the ability for blind people to read books. Based on military codes from points for two years (starting work at thirteen), he developed such a tactile font that can be "read" even with one finger.
