These cursed artifacts harmed many of their owners, mutilated many, in some cases even killed.

The tradition on this plantation was that every time someone died, the mirrors were covered with cloth. It is said that when the mirror is not covered with cloth, the spirits are trapped between the worlds. Once, when Sarah Woodruff and her children died, the servants forgot to close one mirror. Sarah and the children were poisoned by their maid, they died in this house, while one mirror remained open. The souls of Sarah and her children were trapped in this mirror, and to this day they haunt all those who look into it. Mirtels Plantation is currently a bed and breakfast inn and guests often complain aboutthat different human figures appear in this mirror, along with small handprints of the child.

Dibbuk's locker
For those who don't know, Dybbuk is a tireless evil spirit in Jewish mythology. Legend has it that a man who was able to survive the Holocaust accidentally summoned one demon and trapped him in his wine cabinet. Later, in 2001, Kevin Mannis bought this locker as a souvenir, and he immediately felt the bad consequences. He and everyone who slept in the house began to suffer from vivid and terrible nightmares. He eventually gave this wine cabinet to his mother, and the day he gave the item to her, she suffered a stroke. The last known owner of this box was Jason Haxton, director of the Museum of Osteopathic Medicine. Not only did he suffer from nightmares, but he also began to develop a serious skin condition, he soon began to cough up blood. With the assistance of local rabbis, Haxton hid the wine cabinet,so that he will no longer harm anyone.
Busby chair
Convicted killer Thomas Busby wanted to be the only person to sit in his favorite chair. He even strangled his father-in-law for sitting on it. Before being executed for this murder in 1702, he ate his last meal in his favorite chair. When he finished his meal, he stood up and put a curse on his favorite chair, declaring that anyone who sat on it would meet a quick and untimely death. It is estimated that approximately 63 people could not resist the temptation and sat on this chair. All of them later died, and literally a few minutes after they got up. The last victim was a man who died a few hours later in a car accident. The cursed chair is now in the Thirsk Museum, where it is suspended in the air to prevent people from sitting on it. Cursed wedding dress
Anna Baker came from a wealthy family, so when her parents found out she was going to marry a poor commoner, they quickly ruined their romance. Maori Warrior Mask
The Maori warriors from New Zealand are part of an ancient tribe that was forced to carve their own unique masks before going to war and fighting. When a person died in a mask, it was believed that his soul would remain in it.
