In the 20th century, sailors faced the presence in the oceans of mysterious underwater objects that clearly did not belong to the naval forces of any of the countries. They moved in the water at fantastic speeds, sank to incredible depths, and remained invulnerable to all types of modern weapons.
How the Scandinavians caught our submarines
In 1972, Norwegian patrol ships discovered unknown submarines in their territorial waters. All attempts to get in touch with them and determine their affiliation ended in vain. Norwegian sailors were struck by the fact that the intruder submarines at times moved at a speed of about 150 knots (250-280 km / h)! But it is well known that the maximum speed of the most modern nuclear submarines reaches only 80 km / h.
Having received no response to their inquiries, the Norwegians, together with NATO ships, attempted to destroy the submarines, throwing depth charges at their tourist attraction - Sognefjord. Dozens of ships and aircraft took part in the unfolding operation, everything was aimed at destroying unknown submarines or making them surface. At some moments, the violators of the border for a moment nevertheless emerged from under the water, once the sailors noticed a mysterious glowing ellipse, at another time a long narrow black hull appeared on the surface, which immediately disappeared into the abyss.
Some very mysterious forces undertook to calm down the Norwegians and their allies who were playing out in the war. Suddenly, yellow and green UFOs appeared in the sky over the mountains, and black helicopters circled over the fjord making incredible maneuvers. The latter lacked any identification marks, and when the helicopters approached the ships, all their electronic filling was out of order. This allowed unidentified underwater objects (UNOs) to quickly escape from the bay.
Alexei Korzhev, who commanded a nuclear submarine in the 1970s, recalled: “In the 70s and 80s, a number of hysterical publications were published in Western countries on the topic that Soviet submarines enter the skerries and fjords of Norway, that they are trying to do something there. then find out or even install underwater mines …”It got to the point that the Swedes and Norwegians in 1976 in the most“strategic points”, where they most often found underwater intruders, set minefields. However, no one was blown up on them, but the mines soon disappeared in the most mysterious way.
Once a top-secret torpedo was used against an unidentified submarine. She did not hit the target, sank without exploding, an entire operation was organized to search for this torpedo and raise it, they feared that it could fall into the hands of the Russians. In general, the mysterious submarines regularly traumatized the psyche of the Scandinavian military, not allowing local politicians to sleep well. The hype about this was huge, Moscow was bombarded with accusations and notes of protest.

In the period from July to August 1986 alone, "outsiders" invaded Swedish territorial waters 15 times without any negative consequences for themselves. Of course, the clamor surrounding the allegedly constant invasions of Soviet submarines to no small extent annoyed our naval sailors. The Commander-in-Chief of the USSR Navy, Admiral of the Fleet Vladimir Chernavin, once even gathered foreign journalists and said: “As Commander-in-Chief of the USSR Navy, I appeal to you and through you to your government so that you can catch our submarine, destroy it there, and I will say thank you ".
Despite such an unusual statement, the Scandinavians did not really believe in the sincerity of the Russians. When the USSR collapsed and our Navy stopped active operations in the seas and oceans for a long period, the Swedes discovered to their great surprise that the mysterious submarines continued to "play naughty" in their waters.
To investigate this issue, the Swedish Parliament created a special commission, which included prominent scientists and military experts. The commission came to the conclusion that the unique maneuverability, speed characteristics and complete invulnerability of the mysterious underwater objects exclude them from belonging to the naval forces of any country.
Chasing fantastic submarines
Even earlier, the American and Argentine military came to a similar conclusion. So in January 1960, Argentine patrol ships discovered two unknown submarines of gigantic proportions in their territorial waters. One of them lay on the ground, and the other circled around her. After unsuccessful attempts were made to get the submarines to surface, they were pelted from ships with an impressive number of depth charges. To the surprise of the Argentines, the submarines did not suffer at all, they surfaced and began to evade pursuit at high speed. They were absolutely fantastic ships. Huge spherical wheelhouses towered over the water, submarine hulls were striking in their unusual shapes. Mysterious submarines clearly gained in speed and broke away from the pursuit, so the Argentines opened fire on them from all guns. The submarines immediately plunged into the water. There, something completely unusual began to happen to them: the instruments showed that two submarines first turned into four, then into six … Then all these objects developed incredible speed and disappeared into the depths of the Atlantic.
In 1967, Argentine sailors again met a mysterious underwater object. The merchant ship Naviero was in the waters of the South Atlantic. At about 10 o'clock in the morning, his crew noticed that a cigar-shaped object about 40 meters long approached the ship at a shallow depth. A powerful bluish-white radiance emanated from him, and he did not make any sounds and did not leave a trace on the water. There was no periscope, no handrails, no deckhouse, no superstructures - no protruding parts at all. The mysterious object moved parallel to the Naviero for a quarter of an hour, then quite unexpectedly dived, passed under the ship and quickly disappeared into the depths, emitting a bright glow under the water.
Who is hiding in the depths of the oceans?
The Americans often recorded mysterious underwater objects in the depths of the seas and oceans, developing incredible speed and capable of diving into unthinkable depths in an instant. Once it almost came to a direct conflict with them. This happened during the maneuvers of the American fleet in the Pacific Ocean near Indonesia, where the depths reach 7.5 kilometers. Then the acoustics recorded noise from a foreign submarine. One of the submarines was sent by the American command to approach an unidentified boat, but a collision occurred. Both submarines sank immediately.
The US Navy ships participating in the maneuvers had equipment for rescue operations at great depths. A rescue team was launched, the primary task of which was to search for any debris and objects from an unknown submarine.
The team only managed to lift a few pieces of metal. A few minutes after lifting the finds aboard the flagship, the work had to be stopped, the fleet acoustics reported that 15 unidentified submarines were being pulled up to the crash site. One of the objects reached a length of about 200 meters! The frightened naval command immediately ordered to suspend maneuvers and not respond to any actions of a potential enemy.
Appearing alien submarines blocked the crash site, creating something like a "dome" inaccessible to radars. The American submarine nevertheless made an attempt to get closer to the crash site, but all of its instruments suddenly failed. With great difficulty, she managed to surface. Then one of the unidentified objects separated from the rest and made a circle under the American ships, all of their locators, devices and communications were out of order. After its removal to a considerable distance, everything resumed work again. Only a few hours later, the signals of mysterious submarines disappeared from the radar screens. Of course, a new attempt was made to survey the collision site; it turned out that not only the wreckage of a foreign submarine had disappeared, but all traces of the dead American submarine.
Only fragments remained at the disposal of the Americans, which they managed to quickly recover. They were examined in the CIA laboratories, and it was concluded that the composition of the metal of one of the fragments is not known, and some of the chemical elements in it are not at all familiar to modern scientists. After that, all information about this incident was classified.
The Americans quickly came to the conclusion that the Soviet submariners had nothing to do with this incident. There are two main hypotheses regarding the belonging of the mysterious submarines. According to one of them, these are ships of aliens from outer space, which have established their bases in the depths of the seas and oceans, but according to another hypothesis, submarines belong to an underwater civilization that exists parallel to ours.
