You grow up … Then you start asking questions, running, poking your nose everywhere (and you still can't reach the ceiling with your palm, unless you jump on your mother's bed).
And time, it flows slowly, not fussy, almost imperceptible. And adults keep saying - “there is no time, there is no time …” But how can there be no time, if there is how much of it ?! The whole bunch is huge! And it seems to you like a huge elephant, or a seal, or even a whale. And everything that is big, big is always slow and awkward, like your neighbor Aunt Pasha, with whom no one travels in the elevator.
Although you don't think about time first. Well, maybe you rush a little sometimes to grow up quickly.
And then suddenly you notice that you are older than your children's pants, and picture books, and last year's skates, and your puppy. And no, no, yes, and you will find the time when it moves! Now, if you have a date, or your friends are too late, or you look into the eyes of your beloved … and it is - whack! - and ran. But there is still a lot of it. And you overtake him every time, you jump out of him, you still want to seem older.
And then you have someone who is the youngest in the world. And you lean over to his bed and think - “how did it run unnoticed, time? and more and more often he began to be missed."
And now it is no longer trailing behind and not jumping in front, but you seem to be on an equal footing.
But one day … One day, unexpectedly, it takes the hand of someone dear to you and takes away … And something happens to your time. With time in general! It is getting younger than you. You start to take care of him and fear for him. You look more closely in the mirror; you stop loving holidays that count down dates; peering into the faces of loved ones. You already know that time can rush very quickly. So quickly that one day his breath stops, his eyes darken and his heart stops. And then it ends. All of a sudden. Absolutely. And you remember this constantly. And you're scared. But you don't know how to feel about it. Because it is still there. By you. Until…
