Dolmens are megalithic structures of the past, who built them and when? What for? The answers to these questions are still unknown.
Dolmen is a stone table, they appeared on earth even before the Egyptian pyramids, they are found all over the world and even under water!
There are 4 types of dolmens:
Type 1 - Composite dolmen made of large stone bricks and a lid.
Type 2 - Tiled (the most common type of dolmens) is composed of 6 segments, similar to a house of cards, multi-ton slabs with locks form a single monolithic structure.
Type 3 - Semi-monolithic dolmens, which are less common, were made from a single piece of rock and a cover (it is difficult to grind such a dolmen even today).
Type 4 - Monolithic dolmen, the rarest type, carved inside the rock, the most complex construction technology. The existence of only three such dolmens is known, today only one has survived, it is located in the Krasnodar Territory, the Volkonsky Dolmen.
The sizes of dolmens are varied, some have a rather impressive view over 10 meters. In appearance, the slabs are not even and have a natural natural appearance, but inside they are perfectly even, as if specially polished and tightly fitted to each other. The interior space is also not the same and has a round, square or rectangular shape.

In the territories where the Dolmens are located, no building elements were found and there are not even quarries. The erection places of these structures are calculated in such a way that they are not afraid of such natural phenomena as earthquakes, landslides, etc. They do not collapse and if you are next to them at the time of the catastrophe, then you feel safe. It has long been considered that the place near the dolmen is a calm place.
