An astronomer from Germany has developed a special telescope that will analyze light sources on the Earth's satellite.
German astronomer Heikan Kajal from the University of Würzburg in Bavaria has come close, in his own words, to unraveling the mysterious flashes of light on the moon. The scientist is referred to by Fox News. Before him, no one has yet been able to explain the reason for the mysterious glow on the only satellite of the Earth.
Kajal said that he used a special telescope located in Spain. A complex system of mirrors is still under development, but the scientist is confident that such an innovation will help him uncover the mystery of the mysterious lunar glow. All results in real time will be transmitted to several computers that will process the information.
It is noted that so far only short flashes have fallen into his sphere of interest, while Popular Science claims that some of these “glow” can last up to several hours.
For the first time such a phenomenon was recorded by Russian astronomers back in 1958. Scientists then noted that outbreaks occur much more often than we can see with the naked eye.
