Students from a school in Palawan City in the Philippines were suspended after several students became "possessed by an evil spirit." The children began to say that they were seeing the ghost of a woman who was covered in blood. The site GMA News Online reports.
It all happened early last Thursday morning right during the lesson. The children who suffered from the evil forces were immediately sent from their lessons to the Catholic Church, so that they could be reassured and, if their condition deteriorated, an exorcism was performed on them.
Information about the incident was told by a certain Janfred Calamba, who contacted the director of the school, Vicente Tamagno. He told reporters that at first only two children began to say that they saw a bloody ghost, but then there were much more of them. In addition, the students began to behave strangely, which gave rise to others to talk about their obsession with evil forces.
The teachers and members of the school leadership were greatly frightened by the behavior of the children, especially the strange language in which they began to speak. The possessed children also said that the bloody ghost wanted to get closer to them all the time.
Before the children were sent to church, the school authorities and priests contacted their parents and obtained their permission to give the injured children tranquilizers to calm them down. After the children came to their senses, it was decided that the worst was over and they were allowed to be taken home.
The rest of the classes that day were discharged from classes and sent home, as teachers were afraid that other children would also become possessed. It is not reported whether the incident subsequently repeated and how the injured children behaved the next day.
