Is drinking alcohol such a big sin? After all, Jesus Christ himself gave wine to his followers. Perhaps this is why an enterprising clergyman from the Republic of South Africa opened the first church on the planet in a village near Johannesburg, where drinking is not only not forbidden, but also welcomed, and during the service. This religious organization was named Gabola, which in our language means "drinking".

The popularity of libation services turned out to be amazing - the number of parishioners is increasing here every day. In just a couple of weeks, it exceeded 2,500 people. Altar minister Tsietsi Makiti, who came up with such an unusual idea, claims that anyone should be able to attend church and talk to God, even if such an individual is an inveterate drunkard. Therefore, anyone can bring strong drinks of their choice here, have a quiet drink and, if desired, share alcohol with their neighbors. Otherwise, it is the most ordinary church that professes the well-known commandments of love, honesty, brotherhood and obedience to God.

They baptize here, however, also with alcohol. So if you like beer, you will be sprinkled with it here. If you prefer spirits, then stay away from open flames. Tsietzi receives many invitations to open branches of his church in other parts of the country. The priest calculated that it was worthwhile for him to engage in such activities, as in his village the crime rate immediately dropped.

According to Makiti, now the villagers drink in the church, and this happens in harmony with the world, and therefore they do not misbehave on the streets and even then in the family behave completely differently - with love and respect for their household. The confessor believes that the Creator thus expresses favor for such services, and therefore the idea of opening such a church is far from his whim and not even an accident, but rather an illumination that was given to him from above.
