In the 1930s, Lily Lindstrom, a moth, lived and worked in Stockholm, Sweden.

It was an unremarkable 32-year-old woman who lived in a small apartment on the ground floor in the Atlas area and served clients there.

Lily was last seen alive on the evening of May 4, 1932, when she knocked on the door of her neighbor Minnie and asked for condoms as she ran out of supplies.

Since then, no one has met Lily again, and a few days later an unpleasant smell began to be felt from her apartment. When the police opened her apartment on May 7, they found the woman's lifeless body on the bed.

Lily had been dead for three days by then, no less. She was lying completely naked with a used condom still sticking out between her buttocks. And on the head there was a severe blunt trauma from some heavy object.

But it was not this that shocked the seasoned policemen, but the subsequent examination of her body by a pathologist, who discovered that there was almost no blood left in Lily's body.

Something similar to saliva was also found on the victim's neck and body, but no stab marks from a knife, awl or teeth were found and how the blood was extracted from the body remains a mystery.

The same mystery turned out to be that the victim's bed was not stained with her blood, it was as clean as possible for a woman of this profession.

Having received such information, the press called the killer Lily "the Vampire from the Atlas" and under this nickname this case was preserved in history.

A blood-stained scoop was also found in Lily's room and apparently the killer used it to drink the victim's blood. However, no extraneous fingerprints were found on the scoop or in the room.

Initially, the police suspected one of the regular clients of the "priestess of love" and soon found them and interrogated them. But there was no evidence for anyone and no one aroused their suspicion. They also all had quite reliable alibis for the alleged day of the murder.

The police also thoroughly searched all the surroundings around Lily's house in an attempt to find something suspicious - traces of blood, blood stained clothes in trash cans, etc. But I didn't find anything either.

This Atlas vampire case remained unsolved and remains one of the darkest and most shocking unsolved murders in Sweden. There are more questions on it than answers.

If there were no stab and cut wounds on Lily's body, how did the killer get the blood out? With a syringe? Then could he be a doctor? Where did he drain the blood from the body? That bloody scoop? Or in some much larger container, since all the blood would simply not fit into the scoop?

Or did he drink all the blood on the spot? But in the human body there are about 4 liters of blood, the killer's stomach would be significantly swollen. At the same time, no one saw a strange person with a big belly in the area.

And how did he manage not to get stained with blood himself? A person covered with blood stains would quickly be noticed. But again, no one saw anything like it here.

Was it the vampire who had sex with Lily right before killing her? He could have inflicted a wound on her head just when he was behind her and the remaining condom speaks volumes about it. In that case, his vampirism had a sexual connotation?

In general, this case even now could lead the investigators to a dead end, and in those years it seemed to them at all an anomaly at the level of alien abductions.
