In May 1982, at a time when the legendary Siegel was still working there, our group set out to try to figure out the structure and principles of movement of the elusive alien ships.
In order to simplify the task, it was necessary to somehow narrow the scope of the problem under study. A candidate for study was found quickly - a three-star UFO. Firstly, because it is easier for others to identify (during the day it looks like a triangle, at night - like a group of lights, among which three bright glowing balls stand out). Secondly, there are many chances that it is a truly man-made apparatus: it is difficult to imagine that a mirage, gallo, aurora borealis, star and other objects, often mistaken for UFOs, have such a complex shape. Thirdly, an interesting feature was discovered in the behavior of the "three-star" - he often appears during tests of new equipment, test flights of aircraft, the first launches of rockets, launches of accelerators, etc. In addition, about this UFO, we could not find anything bad in the stories of eyewitnesses and contactees,in the abductions, he was also not noticed. So, along with the principles of the device, I really wanted to find out the purpose of the triangles flights …
As soon as the flight directions of our hero were transferred to a geographical map, it turned out that more than a third of all routes intersected at only two points on the territory of the USSR. The first was the 47th km of the Yaroslavl highway, the second - the Lower Volga region. Unlike the Moscow region, it was not trampled down so much, and it was there that we began to search for a landing site for three-stars.
The search principle was simple. From the reference book you find out the telephone numbers of the village councils, then dial up to the board and ask to clarify "for scientists from Moscow" whether "ball lightning and other anomalous atmospheric phenomena" were observed in this area. In that half-steppe, half-mountainous region, there are not many villages, there are no impolite chairmen at all, and therefore the trick worked already in the third village. "Why lightning - we have such flies here !!" After five minutes of questioning, it became clear where we would definitely go next summer …
The village is like a village. Only now, none of its inhabitants needs to be convinced that UFOs and "other devilry" exist in reality. With some stretch, one could even assert that the newcomers entered the life of the peasants in the most direct way. Not that at all, but when the driver of the night milk tanker says that he saw "aliens near the plate", the milkmaids do not laugh at all, but together refuse to walk to the farm and back in the dark. And each new story about strange lights leads to the fact that the chairman, swearing, is forced to either turn off the night work, or pay extra to the driver for bringing the shift after sunset.
Literally a month before our call, one of the tractor drivers also allegedly saw a ship descend to the top of a wooded hill late in the evening, the next day the youth organized a mass procession there, but found nothing but a large spot where the grass cover for some reason disappeared … The village old men only timidly reminded the young that, according to rumors, somewhere in the same place there must be "witch's places" …
Stop! Witches are, of course, unscientific, but one should not forget about old rumors even in our enlightened time. Once in a pre-revolutionary guide to the Russian Empire, I came across a small message. It turns out that the local residents (Volga Germans and Cossacks) told travelers that forest robbers live in the local forests. The robbers were strange: they did not rob or kill anyone; as befits dashing people, they led a hidden lifestyle, but the locals were aware of their biggest secret - the cave with treasures. And they even knew that the treasure was not gold. The second time, in another book, the same "robbers" were mentioned in passing: one of Pugachev's detachments galloped towards them with a clear order either to include the forest gang in the motley army, or to take a rich rent from it. The historian reported that neitherthe Pugachev Cossacks failed to do the other for unclear reasons …
The very first trip to the anomalous zone near “our” village was extremely fruitful. The first clearly visible spot on the grass was noticed quite by accident by one of our guys, who almost lay down to rest on a picturesque lawn, and only throwing off his backpack, he drew attention to its strange geometric outlines. To some extent, these two properties are jewelry precision of lines and amazing the beauty of the landscape around - can be attributed to all the other landing sites we have seen. You can, of course, consider this a subjective opinion, but for some unknown reason, an unknown person seemed to be marking this or that place with his presence. If the corner of the clearing is the one with the flowers blossoming more magnificently and the crowns of century-old trees intertwined more bizarrely. If the stream is the area where it is decorated with a slender birch tree. If the hill is the onefrom which a stream pleasing to the eye can be seen as far as possible, and not a dull steppe landscape.

Then word of mouth brought us to the head of the peasant farm Ivan Yurov, who that very night "almost collided with a plate." Escaping from the stalled truck, he managed to make out thin people with a strange gait, in luminous clothes, with bald heads, and on their heads like a wire …”In the end, we met the former local chairman Nikolai Doroshenko. It would be difficult to imagine a person who possessed more information about the history of these places, especially since he did this history to a large extent. The famous biography of the caves by Doroshenko began in 1942. In July of this year, the Nazis rushed to the Volga, and in the area of the Medveditskaya ridge, our sapper units in a hurry erected a line of defense. The local women, who, of course, had to take their children with them to work were the main diggers. Teenagers,not distinguished by great assiduity, of course, they simply had to climb all the surrounding slopes and stumble upon the entrances to the caves. Doroshenko found out about the find only when the local women themselves began vying to ask for help in finding their own children. Suspicion in their stories fell precisely on the caves, into which the sappers were asked to climb.
Are you, of course, waiting for the story of what the soldiers found inside these mysterious formations? Until his death in 1994, Doroshenko did not want to remember the details of those sorties … What the soldiers saw inside the caves remained a mystery. Perhaps, he remained alive and at least one of them will respond?..
During one of the "cave" expeditions (and there were 18 over the years!) Fate brought me together with a local psychic-healer Andrei Gorely, who, among other incredible stories, told about his ability to predict the appearance of UFOs and even cause them. To the proposal to conduct an experiment at any convenient time, Gorely responded with an evasive refusal, and when mentioning the "three stars" he generally stated that we would never see them again, since "the inhabitants of the planet Proserpine made only five of them, and the last of these five recently died in an unequal space battle with the forces of evil. " We could only wait for the UFO appearance predicted by the Gorely "after 4 pm on October 6, 1993".
This day turned out to be cold and cloudy. I had to walk almost knee-deep in the fog, which … There was something strange in this dull haze. She completely ignored the breeze and did not "react" in any way to the people walking. Maybe it just seems? I bent down and ran my hand over the "fog" - no reaction! Its droplets moved like tea leaves in tea, or rather, like Brownian particles, flashing and disappearing like silver sparkles suspended in an oily liquid. It seems that something similar was observed in Siberia, on the famous "devil's meadow". But there the land was littered with non-decaying corpses of cows, and people felt inexplicable attacks of fear ….
"Our" glade, or rather, a piece of dry forest (not burned out, but dried up forest!), Most likely, was only the "younger sister" of the Siberian "devil". However, another similarity was soon discovered. The carcasses of those cows, according to eyewitnesses, after years took on a bright red color - by evening our faces, hands, even the INNER parts of the palms, i.e. all exposed parts of the body looked burned out, like the body of an unwary holidaymaker in the sultry south. But we were “sunbathing”, let me remind you, above the 50th parallel, and it happened on a PASMURY day in October!
From above, the clearing resembled an ellipse sharply extended from north to south with a large side of about a hundred meters. Its northern focus coincided with an even circle of grass, which for some reason changed its shade. The grass cover in the circle was also distinguished by a lower height (10 centimeters inside the circle versus 30 outside). This is how the consequences of the emergency working engines of a man-made UFO could look like, because ordinary landings and flights of unidentified objects never lead to such terrible consequences. But the next find made me doubt this version.
… It was an old, rotten through and through, a post less than a meter high - such foresters put on clearings. On the rotten tree, individual ones are barely visible - not even letters, but the lines of some short inscription. Not far along the perimeter of the danger zone were the skeletons of other similar posts. What are these warning signs? Only one kept the vertical position, and even that one collapsed at the first careless touch.
Who and when staked out this dangerous place? Later, according to the chemical analysis of rotten chips, it was found that the tree was felled at least 90 years ago. On the other hand, in favor of the fact that the zone was formed about two or four years ago, the relatively strong appearance of dried up (apparently, suddenly - was it a non-emergency planting the reason?) Trees testified. The conclusion suggests itself: someone in the past marked not a terrible clearing, but a landing place for guests from the sky. A similar version appeared just a few minutes after our parting with the clearing, when, just a dozen steps away, we stumbled upon the old cart wheels lying on the ground. The resulting figure from above could be mistaken for an arrow (with a tip to the landing site). Our ancestors, as far as we know, did not throw out broken wheels, but kept them "for spare parts": some twenty years ago,when there were no horse-drawn vehicles left in the villages, I happened to see such "relics" in the backyards, which the old people could not throw away. The same wheels were put on the ground without any apparent purpose back in the days when they were of real value. Strong wooden spokes rotted in places, iron rims rusted, in some places strong trees grew inside the wheels. Apparently, the "arrow" was laid out in those days when this place was an open meadow, before the trees sprouted. Maybe with such a peculiar sign someone in ancient times indicated to someone the direction of landing,and the Central Russian forest acted as a kind of "Nazca desert"? But why is it necessary to use cart wheels for this purpose? As if for the builders of the sign, trolley transport and spare parts for it were absolutely nothing worthwhile …
In order not to miss the UFO arrival promised at 16 o'clock, we were in a hurry to go out into the open. It was already five to five, when suddenly a transistor receiver in the voice of a distant Moscow announcer announced: "Moscow time - 16.00" It sounded like a bolt from the blue! The clocks of all those present lagged behind by 3-5 minutes, although in the morning they were checked (this is done on expeditions sometimes several times a day). The surprise lasted only ten seconds, because at exactly 16 o'clock …
As if in exact accordance with the prediction, a deafening thunder really roared from an almost clear sky (or maybe it was just the sound that went to us for ten seconds?). The clouds covered the sky only at an altitude of five to seven kilometers, and as far as one could see, there was no plane or other aircraft anywhere. The thunderous sound belonged precisely to the aircraft passing through the sound barrier at a height of no more than three or four kilometers. What is it - the promised UFO "gives a voice"? But the horizon remained empty until the evening …
If an explosion or a thunderbolt from the sky at the promised minute can only be very conditionally regarded as a manifestation of something unknown, then the hours that ran ahead were indirect evidence of a meeting with something mysterious. One could only sin in the "devil's clearing." Does this mean that inside the clearing (inside the "fog") Time is sharply accelerated? Most likely, the speed of Time there is far from uniform, perhaps even it somehow depends on the creeping "fog": inside the clearing, everyone had approximately the same period of time, and the clock ran away most of all for those who leaned down to the ground in order to consider particles of white haze …
It was necessary to get ready to go out before dark to the road. Ten minutes of descent down the slope of the mountain, and before us opened up a field level as a stadium, on the reddish surface of which a darker triangular spot was clearly drawn. At first, the spot did not evoke any emotions too much; it resembled an ordinary shadow from a cloud … A minute later, we again went to an open place, from where the field could be seen even better, and … the "shadow" did not disappear and did not move. However, what kind of shadow will be visible on a cloudy day?
Is this the very landing site for the three-star that we have been looking for? In the middle of the field there is a spot in the form of an elongated triangle with faces of 50, 80 and 80 meters, the vegetation inside the spot differs sharply in its composition, in fact, that is why it was visible from afar. The grass, thorns, and bushes along the edges of the track were growing so densely that they left no hope of seeing any tracks on the soil. But in the center - a dense green wall, as it were, parted, forming a small one inside a large triangle - 10x15 meters in size from bare earth and dried grass. Right there are perfectly preserved dents measuring 30x40 centimeters, located in pairs. As if a large unit was leaning here with its three supports, which was then raised (or raised itself?) And lowered two meters from the previous place. Moreover, given the depth to which the soil was pressed in in both cases, we can conclude that both landings of the same (or several of the same type?) Apparatus took place at about the same time (the local land “floats” strongly after rain), and its mass amounted to 50 -70 tons. With such and such dimensions, it is not very heavy, I must say!
… When you are engaged in an urgent matter, it gets dark catastrophically quickly. Hastily collecting the instruments, we set off on our way back. We walked about ten meters and froze in place: someone, breaking branches, walked right at us. Hidden in ambush, they began to wait. A couple of minutes later, two dark personalities appeared at the edge of the field - with antennas on their heads! They passed a little more and froze in place - apparently, they felt our presence. Briefly "conferred", turned back - and then we finally made out our aliens: in the light of the moon peeping out from behind a cloud, two deer went into the forest … With jokes and jokes about the "unannounced visit" we had long been walking along the highway, while someone- then from the group did not turn back: a couple of kilometers from us, over the very place that we "sniffed out" for several hours, a huge luminous ball hung and a powerful ray ransacked the earth …
The next "cave" season ended in September, and a couple of months later I got my hands on a book about ancient esoteric symbols, in several illustrations of which were flaunted large isosceles triangles (a symbol of the all-seeing eye, oversight of humanity) surrounded by … horned deer!
