You may have already heard this hypothesis of the artificial origin of the Moon, including I superficially touched on this topic in my articles, but in this one I decided to dwell on this fantastic version in more detail. How much do we know about our satellite? Why does the moon have such an impact on our planet? Could this cosmic body create extraterrestrial civilizations?
The moon influences many processes on our planet. There is even a version that in the absence of our satellite, life on Earth would be impossible. Supporters of the existence of alien civilizations are sure that the moon was artificially created in the past and brought to Earth. This event could have happened about 15 thousand years ago, but who first began to discuss this topic in modern society? As strange as it may sound, the theory of an artificial moon was proposed by Soviet scientists in the sixties of the last century. Vasin and Shcherbakov probably did not even expect that their hypothesis would receive such distribution and would be seriously discussed, trying to find arguments and facts.
At that time, such discussions were quite dangerous, because it could undermine the foundations of science, maybe that's why in the USSR almost no one seriously took the hypothesis of an artificial satellite of our planet, but in Western countries this version began to be discussed quite seriously. So are there any real reasons for this hypothesis?
Scientists have studied our Universe rather poorly, but there is still certain data. Experts note that the radius of the Moon is about 1/4 of the area of our planet, but this is not found anywhere else among the satellites in the studied Universe. All known satellites of the planets have a smaller radius than the planets themselves. Further, supporters of the artificial origin of the moon note the strange orbit of our satellite. It is practically round, but should be elliptical, which can also be evidence of artificial origin.
However, a number of scientists point out that if the Moon were artificial, it would mean full space inside our satellite, and over a long time it would simply begin to self-destruct, but this does not happen. Soviet scientists assumed that an alloy of an unknown material with titanium was used as the base (frame) of the Moon. Interestingly, scientists managed to find a high content of titanium in the lunar soil.
Also, supporters of the version point to the lunar seas, which consist of solidified lava. This could be explained by the fact that there would be a liquid core inside the moon, but scientists argue that our satellite has always been a cold satellite, so where did the seas of lava in such quantities come from then? About 4/5 of these seas are located on the visible side of the moon. Moreover, experts note the heterogeneity of our satellite, as well as the attraction of our satellite. The asymmetry and lack of reasonable proportions of the Moon cause a lot of controversy about whether the Moon is a cosmic formation or is it created artificially.
They say that tens of thousands of years ago, the Earth was very unstable, so it was necessary to somehow influence our planet in order for life on it to be possible. Extraterrestrial civilizations decided to build this mega-structure and deliver it to Earth about 15 thousand years ago. If we speak reasonably, then there is no strong evidence in favor of this hypothesis, but there is a possibility that our technology is not yet able to prove it. How can you build a cosmic body that is 1/4 the size of the Earth? But can the technologies of extraterrestrial civilizations cope with this task rather quickly?
The Moon itself resembles the "Death Star" from "Star Wars", so maybe our satellite is a spaceship, in which intelligent beings or bio-robots can be? Or maybe the satellite was created to control the climate of our planet. At the moment it is impossible to answer these questions, so all that remains is to build fantastic versions.
