The elusive monster with the affectionate nickname Nessie is breaking all records this year. Usually the number of his appearances per year does not exceed the number "six". However, according to the official register of observations of the Loch Ness monster, which is maintained by researcher Gary Campbell, this number was reached at the beginning of this month.
The mysterious animal was last seen on August 22, 2017 by tourists from England, who were driving along General Wades Military Road from Dors, a village on the eastern shore of Loch Ness.
An entry in the register reads: “A tourist named Stuparich and three of his friends approached the shore, and all four noticed something huge in the water. They reported that an unusual creature arched out of the water, then turned around and again sank to the bottom. The observation took place at 15-00 and lasted about 10 seconds."
Last month, Paula from Canada closely monitored live webcams installed along Loch Ness, and at 7 p.m. noticed an unknown object moving slowly along the surface of the water in the area of Arkart Castle.
In addition, on June 12, 2017 at 11:20, she recorded a 5-minute video from another webcam, which shows how the creature slowly moves along the center of the lake towards Fort Augustus. A similar entry was made by her on June 26.
The register also notes that “On June 22 at 5:15 pm, tourists from Australia, Jackson and his wife, photographed a form that appeared in a lake six kilometers south of Arkart Castle. The observation lasted about five minutes."

Another sighting was recorded on May 1, which is recorded in the register: "Mrs. Johnson of Manchester in Arkart Harbor at dusk noticed a dark figure in the water above the waves."
The first entry for 2017 entered the register on April 28: “A resident of Dunbartonshire Carney and her three friends saw, 500 meters from the lake shore, a wave 20 meters long, moving at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour, which appeared out of nowhere and then disappeared the same way.
According to eyewitness statements, there were no boats or cutters in the area. The event took place at 3 p.m. when eyewitnesses were driving along the A82 highway between the village of Drumnadrochit and the port of Inverness.
For the entire 2016, only seven sightings of the monster were recorded, but in 2015, Nessie behaved very modestly and appeared only five times.
