An amateur photographer has taken intriguing photographs (and videos) off the shores of Loch Ness that will surely be further proof of the mythical monster for Nessie fans.

The picture was taken by David Elder at Fort August in the southwestern part of a 23 km long Scottish reservoir. The photo shows an arched wave, the appearance of which the tourist associates with the movement of an underwater inhabitant. The 50-year-old photographer insists the wave was caused by "a black object underwater." Elder managed to take several photos and also filmed a video of the mysterious scene.

“We were at the pier in Fort August and I was photographing a swan,” the man told Mail Online. - Suddenly, with the peripheral vision of my eye, I noticed a black area of water about 4.5 meters long, around which strange waves were going. I am convinced that they were caused by an object under water. At that time, the water was very calm and there were no waves or any other activity on the water. There was definitely something solid under the water."

More photos of the inhabitant of Loch Ness will undoubtedly become irrefutable proof of the existence of Nessie for those who believe the story of the sea creature living in the largest lake in Great Britain is true. Nevertheless, skeptics believe that the wave captured in the photo appeared due to a gust of wind or other natural phenomenon.

The story of the Loch Ness monster dates back to the Middle Ages, but the general public's attention was drawn to the story in 1933.

In the same year, the Spicers couple claimed to have seen a creature with a large body and a long neck in the lake. After the publication of this story, the lake became a national sensation. The following year, a photograph was published showing the head of the Loch Ness monster sticking out of the water.

Despite the fact that the image turned out to be a fake, the search for Nessie continues, and people who truly believe in the existence of the mythical creature are not embarrassed by numerous unsuccessful attempts to find the mysterious monster.
