Many who have been to the city of Kaunas claim with confidence that they have seen devils with their own eyes. And this is true! The unique Museum of Devils has been functioning in this city for more than half a century.
The museum was created in 1966, based on the personal collection of the artist Antanas muidzinavičius, who died in the same year. There is always a lot of controversy around such dates, because if you turn one of the nines, then 3 sixes will line up in a row - "the number of the beast", which in this case is very symbolic.
After the death of the artist, a museum named after him was located in his house. The memorial museum displays the collection of devils collected by Antanas.
The great artist began his unusual collecting in 1906. Antanas muidzinavičius collected all the damn characters, regardless of the material of manufacture.
His collection includes metal, glass, wood, ceramic, plastic and other devils created on the basis of national Lithuanian traditions. Later he added foreign devils to his collection, which were brought from 23 countries of the world.

And the Lithuanian people calmly placed the statue of devils in the house. It should be noted that the devil in Lithuanian art is not always a negative character.
