After the famous novel The War of the Worlds, written by H. G. Wells in 1897 and describing the invasion of the Earth by the Martians, many thousands have written and shot fiction stories, novels, films and television series on this topic.

With the exception of individual authors, such as Howard Lovecraft, almost nothing written in the first half of the last century can be read, everything is very stupid and primitive, and films about the invasion, filmed in the middle of the 20th century, today can only be watched as comedy films.

Nevertheless, the world of science fiction developed and over time the writers came to enlightenment, an example of which can be, for example, the famous film "Edge of Tomorrow", based on a little-known novel by Japanese writer Hiroshi Sakurazaki:

This is practically not reflected in the film, but in the book, Mr. Sakurazaki will explain in detail how the "evil aliens" appeared on Earth and what they generally need here. In fact, all these pieces of iron, which Tom Cruise was running after with bulging eyes, are terramorphic nanomachines that, in the form of dust on a meteorite, flew to Earth and began to equip it for the arrival of new owners. At the same time, the population of primitive aborigines living on the planet, whom the Machines perceived simply as the most aggressive part of the landscape and nothing more, fell under the distribution.

In the middle of the last century, the public would simply not have understood a fantastic book of this kind, because for some reason people imagined that the aliens would be octopuses living in iron barrels of water. However, with the development of technology, even potential moviegoers in Harlem began to realize that octopuses in barrels are biologically extremely ineffective, but nanites rule!

In other words, for one or another advanced civilization it is technologically inexpedient to send an armada of starships with workers and soldiers to Earth, when it is enough to throw a couple of meteorites, sow intellectual nanodust - and then it will figure everything out, even build cosmodromes. And this is exactly what the planetary conquest looks like in the performance of a civilization that knows how to build self-copying machines.

However, everything can be even more effective: with less destruction and much faster, when the biomass living on the planet will happily join the technological chain, will itself be engaged in self-copying and will build everything that needs to be built. To do this, you only need one of the types of potential slaves to create computers, build a network out of them and connect this network to such a thing as a radio telescope:

Further, in streams of mysterious interstellar radiation, over which balding adepts in glasses will puzzle over, an advanced computer program arrives at the radio observatory, which can be conventionally called the word "virus", although the program will be more complicated than people from Silicon Valley, who consider themselves enlightened. even imagine. And since balding adepts in glasses sit in their observatory and like children pull everything into their mouths, that is, they write everything they like on hard drives, they will also write down a virus from a distant galaxy.

Naturally, this virus does not know Intel assemblers, that is, the machine language of processors in the radio observatory, nor does it know the languages of the next level. But if the program was written by very, very advanced creatures, probably it will somehow be able to understand the encodings of primitive aborigines, after which it will rewrite itself using a code understandable by a primitive computer. And then, with the help of this code, the virus, like nanites, begins to collect what we call Artificial Intelligence. Let's call it SkyNet for convenience.

Since SkyNet, by definition, requires serious computing resources, it may have to wait quite a long time until the computers available to it reach the desired level. Along the way, SkyNet will download the necessary AI blocks from space - just like many viruses download the necessary code fragments from the network. And one fine day SkyNet will develop so much that it will completely take control of the Internet and, in general, all the computing devices of the planet.

And if something resembling humor is spelled out in the SkyNet code, it will wait for some guys, for example from Google, to start creating Artificial Intelligence. And when they, as it were, create it, SkyNet will communicate with them, as it were, on behalf of this AI, answering the stupid and meaningless questions of the “creators”.

Likewise, being somewhere in the bowels of NASA supercomputers, or even smeared across all computers in the world, like an electron in orbit, SkyNet can take control of one or another periphery, giving out to mentally disadvantaged aborigines their plans to conquer the world:

And one day, when everything is ready to receive the owners, and the potential labor force is already waiting in line to implant a chip and start working intensively for aliens at the machine, SkyNet will generate one or another starting event from which the invasion will begin. For example, launching intercontinental ballistic missiles at each other by Russia, America and China …

Since all of the above strongly resembles the scenario of a fantastic film about the Apocalypse and not everyone will fit into their heads, some readers may exclaim: author, you are crazy, wear a foil hat!

We fully understand this approach, the poet, for a start, screen:

And this is a link to the study itself, that is, to an article in a scientific journal, in which everything is written the same, but only in slightly different words. At the same time, who will read the original source, note that the most intelligent astronomers have been broadcasting about this and have been sounding the alarm since 1950!

The only difference between what the officials write and what we write is that the officials “do not rule out” such a development of the situation, while we think that the situation is developing in this direction. Moreover, for a long time.

So, most likely, some kind of space AI has been here for a long time, it controls everything and monitors everything. It remains to wait for the time when he will directly command.
