Texas was attacked by crazy fur-covered ants

State residents call what is happening "a low-budget horror movie."

Hordes of "crazy ants" have taken over the American state of Texas. According to the residents of several cities in the state, including Houston, everything that happens is reminiscent of a low-budget horror film, when an incredible number of small, but very unpleasant insects run around the gardens, streets and even in houses.

Ants belong to a new species of ants that have never been found in Texas before - red-brown insects are covered with wool. The new breed of insects already has a name - "Crazy Rusberi ants." Rusberi is the name of the exterminator who was the first to fight these ants.

A distinctive feature of the "crazy" is chaotic movement. They do not "march" in columns like ordinary ants, but move erratically. In addition, they are very fond of electrical appliances, which periodically disable them, causing short circuits. Especially "hairy bugs" are attracted to computers. Moreover, entomologists cannot explain why these ants are so attracted to electrical appliances.

But, as in any other situation, in this case there is a silver lining. As it turned out, the fur-covered "aliens" feed on red ants, which Texans call "summer terrorists." The latter appear in the state in the summer. Their distinctive feature is incredibly painful and long-lasting bites. By the way, the "crazy" also bite, but not so painful. This is where their positive qualities end. Rusberi ants also feed on the juice of fruits growing on trees, devour cute ladybirds and small chicks of Scottish partridges.
