According to many legends and legends, in the very distant past, our planet was inhabited by giants who lived on Earth at the same time as huge reptiles and constantly fighting with them for their own place in the sun. Numerous myths speak about this. Consider, for example, the ancient Greek titans. And there are a great many such examples.
The existence of giants is evidenced by the cyclopean ruins with colossal stones scattered throughout the world. Modern science cannot yet give an intelligible and accurate explanation of how such monumental structures were created, therefore, many explain this phenomenon by the existence of strange giant creatures in antiquity, which erected statues of their own size.
Otherwise, where did such gigantomania come from? So, blocks of stones are scattered over the surface of almost the entire Siberian territory, they are also in the south of Russia. These are the grandiose structures in Karnak, the famous Stonehenge, the "hanging stones" from Solisbury, the South American and, naturally, the Egyptian pyramids, the mysterious Sphinxes, giant statues depicting the pharaohs. There are similar cyclopean ruins on our Kola Peninsula and in many other places.
All such structures, no doubt, are the work of a strange race that preceded ours, and it was quite impressive in growth. Why does science still allow the existence of many giant reptiles or plants in the distant past, but completely denies the existence of gigantic people?
Since the real existence of dinosaurs has already been proven, then in a similar way it is possible to confirm the existence in nature of huge people, not inferior in size to giant lizards living with them in the same era.
After all, it will not be a discovery for anyone that in our era a huge variety of strange artifacts have already been found that look like human bones and remains of enormous size. However, due to inexplicable reasons, these findings cannot find recognition in official science, which admits the authenticity of all available fossil animal remains.
One gets the impression that these artifacts simply threaten to destroy the strictly built and already officially recognized beautiful and harmonious theories from orthodox science. But after all, once upon a time, the luminaries of false science just as vehemently denied the existence of Troy, Pompeii or Herculaneum, and even earlier they believed that our Earth is flat and is set on three whales.
In ancient times, man was of considerable stature. Today, perhaps, not a single people exists that does not have legends about national giants. Literally in all ancient sources that have come down to us - in the Bible, Avesta, Veda, Edda, Chinese and Tibetan chronicles, etc. - everywhere you can stumble upon legends about giants. Even on the Assyrian cuneiform tablets there are reports of the giant Izdubar, towering over people like a cedar over bushes. But nothing is accidental. And such an abundance of oral and written legends makes today's inhabitants of the planet believe that giants still lived on our Earth in ancient times.

Monks from Tibet say that in one of the underground monasteries, in the room where initiations are held, there are two embalmed bodies: a man and a woman, whose height is six and five meters, respectively. But they really exist, and our scientists have seen them, as they saw "useless" structures, such as dolmens, menhirs, Baalbek with its terraces, houses, twenty-meter fortress walls and much more.
Few of us know that small mountainous Armenia has its own Stonehenge, which is called Karahunj or Karahunj here. It is located near the small town of Sisian at a distance of two hundred kilometers from Yerevan.

Karahunj is a gigantic monument of more than one hundred huge standing stones. It is located on a high mountain plateau, at a distance of more than 1,770 meters from sea level. This observatory stone complex includes 222 vertical stones ranging in height from one and a half to three meters and weighing up to nine tons. In the upper parts of some stones, it is not known by whom and how round holes with a diameter of about four or five centimeters were made, at the ends having conical extensions. The inner surface of the holes in the stones is amazingly clean and very smooth, so many researchers suggest that this huge "stone composition" still has some mysterious meaning.
Since 1995, scientists have organized several expeditions to Karahunj, carried out detailed topographic surveys of the area. And only after that it was stated that there is no doubt: the complex is an observatory used by ancient people. This observatory was very carefully studied by P. Heruni, who organized a number of expeditions to this mysterious place, and then described everything in his book "Armenians and Ancient Armenia".
Herouni's description of Carahunj exactly coincides with the description of the famous Stonehenge given by the English scientist, Professor Gerald Hawkins in a work co-authored with J. White. The book is called "The Solution to the Secrets of Stonehenge." The parallel that has arisen between them involuntarily leads to the so far unfounded idea that Karahunj could in fact be the forerunner of Stonehenge. Moreover, it is very interesting that both scientists who study facts from ancient history are astronomers.
About the purpose of these strange holes inside the stones, Karahunj Heruni writes that through special holes in such cases are a unique, not common phenomenon in such ancient observatory monuments. The holes made in the observatory's massive stones are designed to provide high stability and accuracy in targeting to the selected target.
If you think about it, if you want, you can find certain semantic intersections in the names Carahunj and Stonehenge. And you don't have to be a philologist for that. Karahunj or Karahunj is translated from Armenian as "Speaking or sounding stones": in Armenian stone - "kar", "hundj" - sound, sound, voice, echo. And Stonehenge from English is usually translated as "stone structure", although the fact that "stone" in English means stone is known, but there is no consensus on what "henge" means. However, this word is very consonant with the Armenian word "hundj". It is quite possible that Stonehenge is the same "talking or sounding stones" that have passed through the millennia and throughout Europe.
Researchers suggest that the links of the same "network" of the oldest observatories on the planet or cult complexes can be Goloring and the Goseck circle, found in Germany, dating back to 1200 - 800 BC. The Karnak complex found in France can also be added to this list.
Another Armenian settlement - Zovuni, where very interesting artifacts were also found, makes you seriously think: what is it? Do the blocks found in Zovuni and the absolutely smooth coating, strongly reminiscent of a concrete floor, have anything to do with the architectural structures of the civilizations, more precisely, with the architectural masterpieces of the ancient giants?
The found complex of incomprehensible structures in appearance resembles either a rather powerful and impregnable fortress, or a prehistoric and very ancient cosmodrome. Sounds like science fiction? But whoever has seen them will not agree with this.
A large group of researchers, archaeologists, astronomers and programmers under the leadership of the aforementioned academician Heruni was able to calculate the transit time of all possible more or less bright stars of this hemisphere through the zenith over the previous several thousand years. It was possible to determine that only four stars most likely passed through the zenith at this place: Vega, Deneb, Arcturus and Capella. At the same time, the star Deneb could be observed with the help of the Karahunj "periscope" about 7630 years ago.
Taking this date as an approximate starting point, scientists were able to determine the age of the ancient Karahunj complex. All calculations led to one single result: the observatory in Karahunj was built and operated more than 75 centuries ago! It turns out that it is the most ancient of all observatories on earth. Carahunj is older than the Egyptian pyramids and Stonehenge, because seven thousand years ago there were no developed civilizations: not in Egypt, not in Mesopotamia, or anywhere else on earth?
There are many more questions than answers to them. More precisely, there are simply no answers to questions, there are only arguments. It is likely that the territory of Armenia in ancient times suffered a disaster similar to the one that struck Crete in due time, which caused the destruction of the Cretan-Minoan civilization. Maybe it was swallowed up by a huge tsunami, as some researchers suggest that Armenia was geographically located next to the ocean or sea. But these are only assumptions.
Reconstruction of the whole picture is still far ahead. In some Armenian regions, right up to our time, the local population not only preserved legends and legends about the existence of giants in this territory, but there are even eyewitnesses to quite interesting finds. They argue that the discovery of large human skulls during construction and excavation works, the sizes of which are many times larger than the usual sizes of skulls and human remains, are not so rare, and they have seen them.
Thus, during excavations in the Armenian villages of Khot and Lernarot, mysterious stone crypts with some fragments of large human skeletons were discovered. Full human skeletons have not yet been found in any of the burials, and the fragments found have been handed over to geneticists and anthropologists for analysis, which can somehow clarify the further picture.
So far, there are only two working versions. The first believes that the fragments of these skeletons are so old that they could only partially reach us. According to the second, these crypts were torn apart by "black diggers" looking for treasure or jewelry, buried with the deceased.
Can you still call Armenia the ancestral home of giants or giants? Indirectly, this version is confirmed by many local legends, as well as numerous huge structures, the ruins of which can be found on the territory of almost all of small Armenia. And although we can only guess about the direct purpose of such majestic buildings, the megalithic and polygonal masonry suggests that it is almost impossible to erect such giant acropolis with the help of the most primitive tools of labor, leaving an indelible impression even in the form of ruins.
Such stone blocks cannot be processed by hand. In the process of work, undoubtedly, complex tools and highly efficient technologies had to be used. However, what kind of tools and technologies are we can only guess. Only giants and giants could do such work, because a mere mortal is not able to move two hundred ton stone blocks. And again, only hypotheses …
