A tornado in Bentonia, Mississippi destroyed homes and tore the roof off a school.

In a suburb of Avoyles, Louisiana, a tornado overturned cars and trailers. Several people were hospitalized. Others were grateful to the higher powers that survived this horror:

“I woke up with the house shaking,” said eyewitness Trey Armand. “A few seconds later, the house began to roll over. It was dark and scary. Wild wind, I pulled everyone out of the house and we just sat for about an hour in the car, which was rocking. This is the first time we've experienced this.”

Meanwhile, the third storm in 11 days, the winter storm Skylar, is attacking the east coast of the United States, raining heavy snow on the American states of Kentucky and West Virginia. As a result of the bad weather, more than 65 thousand houses were de-energized.

The National Railroad Company Amtrak has suspended trains between Boston and New York.

In the northeast, residents prepared for another winter blast just days after winter storm Quinn left more than 1 million people without electricity. In New Jersey, about 6,000 homes and businesses are still de-energized.

In anticipation of the arrival of the disaster in the northeastern United States, more than 1,000 flights were canceled.

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh has declared a state of emergency following the arrival of the storm. Many schools in the city will be closed on Tuesday.

As forecasters and climatologists emphasize, abnormal weather will continue to attack. And they will only get stronger. This applies to many countries. And in general, people have to get used to it: what was considered anomalies five years ago is now becoming a terrible norm. And mankind now needs to expect those anomalies that were predicted and shown only in science fiction films.

And people already encounter them … more and more often.
