I have been friends with Dima since the fifth or sixth grade. As we matured and we turned fourteen, our friendship grew into something more. We continued to meet after school, and when we turned nineteen, we got married. After the wedding, we vowed to each other in blood that we would never part. But our family idyll lasted only five years. A terrible illness killed my husband. Shortly before his death, Dima again took a promise from me that I would not date other men. Even when I was dying, I loved my husband, and I was sure that no one could ever replace him. And, nevertheless, life goes on, and I want to have a close relationship with someone.
Immediately after Dima's death, strange things began to happen in the house. When he was alive, he liked to rearrange the frames of photographs from place to place, knowing that it annoys me. Now it all continues to repeat itself. He also disliked chicken meat, and as soon as I buy a chicken, it spoils in a matter of hours, even in the refrigerator. Coincidence?
Two years after Dima's death, I got a boyfriend. That evening I brought him to my house. In the kitchen, we began to kiss, when suddenly we heard a terrible rumble. I do not know how it happened, but the dishes fell from the cabinet and broke. My new friend endured all these oddities to the last, but when he felt someone grab his hair, he refused to continue our relationship.
My second boyfriend retired after the ghost decided to watch TV with him. This is what he told me: “I was watching TV, and I noticed on the surface of the glossy screen the reflection of a silhouette who was sitting next to me on the sofa. I never believed in spirits and drums, but at that moment I felt creepy. So I suggest you just stay friends."
But what happened to my third boyfriend, I don't even know myself. We had a good time at my house, had dinner and drank some wine. I got up and went to the kitchen for dessert. When I returned to the room, my new acquaintance had such a face as if he saw the devil himself. Without saying a word, he ran away with a twisted grimace, even forgot my phone number. Now I can't even call him to ask what happened.
