When Zhao Xin Fu was 17 years old, a swelling appeared on his neck that quickly reached the size of a chicken egg. But the Chinese chose to ignore the problem - the tumor was painless and did not interfere. And even when the tumor was increasing every year, the man did not go to the doctors. He believed that the treatment would be too expensive.
This went on for 47 years. The men managed to get married, have a son and grow old. Only recently, when the old man was already 64 years old, his son Jiang Jiang convinced him to go to the hospital and gave him money for the operation.
By that time, the tumor on his neck had already become several times larger than the head and weighed 15 kg. She was so bulky that it already interfered with the man's balance while walking.
It took 10 hours for the surgeons at the Guizhou Province Hospital to remove the huge tumor from the neck. The tumor was not a malignant lipoma. These tumors are caused by increased overgrowth of fat cells. Most often, lipomas are small in size and only in a very neglected state, as in this case, do they become really huge.
Now the man is recovering from the operation. According to him, it is very unusual for him to feel without a 15-kilogram "bag" on his neck, and his son has never seen his father in a normal state - without a tumor.
