A group of researchers from the Iranian Institute for Biblical Search and Archeology, Bible Archeology, Search & Exploration Institute (Base Institute), said they probably found the remains of the same Noah's ark.
Ancient fossilized pieces of wood, presumably from the ark, were found by them on Mount Takht-e-Suleiman (Throne of Solomon - Takht-e-Suleiman), which is near the city of Tekab in northwestern Iran.
The search for Noah's ark is one of the most popular topics for Bible students. The ark was built by Noah for his family and for “a pair of each creature” at the behest of God. When God sent the Flood, Noah and his family were able to escape and then re-populated the earth with people and animals.
According to the Bible, Noah's ark stopped at Mount Ararat, which is now in Turkey. The remains of the ark were allegedly found several times earlier on Ararat, but all this has not been thoroughly proven.
Recently, pictures (screenshots from the video) of the Base Institute were leaked to the press, in which you can see pieces of stones that they found on Mount Takht-e-Suleiman, similar in structure to wooden blocks. The blocks were found at an altitude of about 4 km and research in the laboratory showed that this is indeed a petrified tree.
Moreover, in this place there are no trees at all, the nearest one grows at a level almost 2 km lower, so whatever this structure was, it did not come here by accident.

Moreover, in the blocks were found microscopic traces of the inhabitants of the deep sea. That is, once these blocks floated in sea water. Also, according to the researchers, the blocks were shaped in such a way that they resembled a large ship. The total length of the structure was 122 meters.
Scientists are not 100% sure that they found exactly Noah's Ark, but according to them, this is one of the main contenders for his title. Now they continue to study the found pieces.
