In India, as in other peoples, there are many myths and legends, one of which is the city of Dwarka, in which the demigod Krishna lived. But in my opinion, most of the myths and legends are based on real events and, apparently, the existence of this city is no exception.
In the 2000s, in the Arabian Sea, at a relatively shallow depth of 36 meters, specialists from the Department of Marine Archeology of the Institute of Oceanography of India discovered a huge city.
The approximate dimensions of the city are 8 kilometers long and 3 kilometers wide, given that the city is approximately 12-14 thousand years old, the dimensions are simply incredible, because then, according to historians, civilization did not exist at all.
For the first time official information about this city appeared in May 2001, from the Minister of Science and Technology of India.
Later, from 2001 to 2004, a variety of expeditions and studies were carried out, how many unofficial studies there were, one can only guess, but it is foolish to believe that there were none.
As a result, studying the underwater city for about 3 years and discovering an incredible amount of ancient artifacts, bones, inexplicable huge monolithic statues and much more, the city was officially recognized, thus, the mythical city of Dwarka.

After studying bones and other artifacts, experts from different countries came to the conclusion that the city existed more than 10 thousand years ago, and about 12 000 years ago it was at its peak.
After that, obviously, many said that this discovery can and even should change history and in general it is correct, but of course, this will never happen.
Later, when research was actively carried out, the government of India prohibited further exploration of the underwater city. Although before that, the same government officially recognized that this is the city of Dwarka.
But for me personally, this is not unusual, such situations occur with almost everything that is inconvenient for history, from artifacts to huge structures and cities.
As a result, we only know that all research was officially banned, and the project was closed. The maximum that appeared was information about the research by the robot in 2017, but what was found out then and how successful it was is unknown.
All this suggests that the myths are not so invented by the people. By the way, in ancient texts, together with this city and Krishna, the war between the "gods" is described in detail.
During the war, advanced technologies were used that our civilization can only imagine. It also says about the well-known vimanas, who could well be real flying vehicles.
Whether there will ever be news about the exploration of this city is unknown and can only wait. But in fact, it is more or less accessible, after all, the depth is not so great. Although if it was studied unofficially, it is unlikely that there is anything really interesting left there.
