At the beginning of the last century, a small book by Giuseppe Lapponi, an Italian psychiatrist, professor, was published on the topic of hypnotism and spiritualism. In it, the author, in particular, talks about the details of a whole series of amazing incidents that he personally investigated. The professor interviewed all the participants in these incredible events, without missing a single detail.

In the book we mentioned, Lapponi published a report on the results of his investigation. Unfortunately, the brochure was published in a small print run; today it is almost completely forgotten even in Italy itself, where events unfolded (this brochure was also published in Russia).

So, this story began in 1901 in the small Italian town of Ruvo. The Pansini family had two boys, the eldest was called Alfred, the youngest was Pavel.

The Pansinis often amused themselves by conducting seances in the company of their friends. One evening, seven-year-old Alfred unexpectedly fell asleep in the room where such a session was taking place. Then it began to repeat itself regularly. And here's what is surprising: once during such a seance in a dream, a child suddenly spoke, and in a strange voice. Moreover, he spoke like a real speaker. Sometimes the boy would begin to speak in other languages - French, Greek, Latin - or unmistakably recited Dante's Divine Comedy by heart. Adults took all this for granted, making the sleeping boy a constant participant in their mystical entertainment.

Involuntary teleportation of brothers

After some time, the Pansinis sent their eldest son to study at the Bitont Seminary. However, even there, amazing things began to happen to Alfred. When someone, looking at him, mentally asked him a question, the boy immediately answered it, that is, he possessed telepathic abilities. This in no way prevented Alfred from studying, but at the age of ten he had to leave the seminary and return home, as his parents could no longer pay for his studies.

With the return of the son, miracles began again in the Pansini family, now they happened to both children. One morning, the whole family was in the central square of Ruvo. At nine o'clock, the brothers suddenly disappeared, as if they had disappeared into thin air. Half an hour later, in a completely different Italian city of Molfetta, the monks of the Capuchin monastery found two crying children wandering lost under the monastery walls. They were fed, questioned and eventually escorted to their hometown.

But that was only the beginning. The next time the family was getting ready for dinner, little Pavel was sent off for a bottle of wine in a shop nearby. Half an hour passed, and the boy did not return. Meanwhile, the elder Alfred disappeared from the house somewhere …

Then something fantastic happened. Both brothers "found themselves" on board the barge, which was heading to the port of Trinitapoli across the Mediterranean. The frightened children began to cry so desperately, and the owner of the ship was so much amazed at their appearance out of nowhere that he believed the brothers' story and turned the barge back. In the coastal town, which defended not far from Ruvo, there was a sympathetic artisan who undertook to take the children to their father's house.

In the following days, both boys, instantly disappearing from their hometown, were announced in Bishelle, Marriott, Terlitsia, and so on … They were brought back by order of the local authorities, who were already notified of the "enchanted boys" who could instantly "jump" to other cities.

The brothers had to be torn apart

This continued for several more months - until the unfortunate mother came to the mayor of Ruvo, Signor Berardi, with both sons and, sobbing loudly, began to beg him to help get Alfred back to the Biton Seminary. The woman wanted to remove her eldest son from the city, where there was already talk about the "devilry" happening in the Pansini family.

During the discussion of this request, both boys suddenly disappeared - right before the eyes of the shocked town governor. Signor Berardi was so overwhelmed by what had happened that he gave the order (with his personal financial support) to send Alfred back to the seminary. And so it happened when both brothers were "caught" in a neighboring town …

Alfred's second stay at the seminary was clearly beneficial. Over time, he completely lost his unique supernatural abilities, including telepathy. And Pavel stopped disappearing after the departure of his older brother …
