The Kosmopoisk expedition recently returned from the Krasnodar Territory with a rich trophy - materials from aerial photography and video filming of circles that have just appeared in the fields, samples of plants that involuntarily turned out to be involved in the "round dance of devils" (as the locals call mysterious pictograms). But the main thing in the current expedition is that the researchers have learned to predict the place and time of the appearance of the mysterious "signs". According to the head of "Cosmopoisk" Vadim Chernobrov, this is the first step towards solving the phenomenon
Chernobrov spreads a map of the world on my desktop. Red dots on it mark the places where, since the end of the 80s of the last century, "signs" were found. Most of these points are in England and Holland. Russia is in third place. There are 85 such designations in total. The points form a surprisingly symmetrical pattern - regular parallel and perpendicular lines, at the intersection of which there are such famous anomalous zones as, for example, the Bermuda Triangle or Stonehenge.
“I don’t want to make premature conclusions,” Chernobrov seems to justify himself. - Perhaps this is a coincidence. But the coincidence, you see, is almost incredible. It seems that the pictograms are gradually added to the grid drawn on the map of the Earth. But by whom? For what purpose? And how? We do not know this yet.
There are many hypotheses. The most widespread, it is also the most fantastic: the circles are spaceports for the landing of foreign equipment, which are united into a huge energy network. Another version: pictograms are some cosmic messages from brothers in mind, which we must decipher. Some researchers believe that UFOs are in fact some kind of high-energy formations such as ball lightning, which are known to have a temperature similar to that on the surface of the Sun. Incandescent clots of plasma can leave traces on the grass in the form of deep burns. But why so correct forms? RAS Academician Vlail Kaznacheev believes that this is one of the manifestations of anomalous atmospheric activity, the so-called geomagnetic capsules. Under a certain confluence of weather conditions and the presence of faults and depressions in a given area, the Earth's magnetic field swirls like in a mad dance. And a drawing comes to the surface, which we take for the letters of the "aliens". … From the photo, a strange figure looks at me, reminiscent of a famous character from a children's cartoon. A round head with big ears, legs, legs, belly … The search engines dubbed the pictogram Cheburashka. And they found it like this. Over the years of observations, extensive statistics have appeared, thanks to which the members of "Cosmopoisk" have created a computer program that predicts the time and place of the appearance of new circles. Thanks to this program, they figured out: between Novokubansk and Armavir, in the region of Mount Cross, famous in those parts, near the village of Lyapino, something interesting should happen on the night of June 17-18 this year. And they did not lose.
“It was pouring rain all night,” says Chernobrov. - We split into four groups. We watched the field for several hours in a row, but nothing happened. At about one o'clock in the morning I dozed off and woke up as if from a sudden jolt: all the dogs in the neighborhood suddenly began to bark loudly. Within a few minutes they ran to the field, as if they sensed something. All at the same time looked at the sky. But there we saw nothing. At one twenty, all four observation posts recorded the appearance of a bright luminous point above the field, which was very slowly moving somewhere up and to the right. We have "detected" the azimuth. After five minutes, the dot disappeared.

Early in the morning on a Yak-18 plane, armed with aerial photography equipment and various instruments, we took off over the field. And just in the search sector we came across the sought-for "drawings". They were gone the night before. This was our "Cheburashka", as well as a curved circle located not far from it, similar to two closed lakes.
The first impression of seeing the pictograms - indeed, the wheat seems to be carefully trampled by hundreds of feet or crumpled by a tractor. But once you bend over and examine the stems, it becomes clear: it would be impossible to do this. If you step on or run over a plant, it will simply break. Try to bend it - it breaks and dries. And here, thousands of stems are bent at the same angle so that the wheat continues to grow and bear fruit. The harvest inside the circles is sometimes even greater than outside them. According to local agronomist Alexei Pivunov, a similar effect could be achieved by steaming each stem over steam. But even if several thousand people during the night devoted themselves to this laborious and thankless task, the wheat would soon dry up.
… The search engines were already going to Moscow when a new signal came from the nearby Kamyshevakha farm. Here, too, circles appeared, but this time in the fields planted with sunflowers. A local resident Fyodor Stepanov, waking up in the morning, found three even circles on the garlic plantation at once, as if inscribed one into the other.
“All the pictograms in our country were previously found only in wheat fields,” Chernobrov continues. - Now the "subject" of unknown draftsmen has expanded. Among the stems of a human-height sunflower from the plane, a strange pattern was clearly traced - a large circle with a diameter of about ten meters, and around it - ten smaller circles. Some immediately called the drawing the footprint of an unknown beast, others compared it with the image of some planetary system, reminiscent of our solar system. But, of course, all this is just speculation.
Agronomist Ivan Ryabov arrived at the scene. The specialist got scared lest the anomalous phenomenon ruin the harvest.
- But what I saw frightened even more, - Ivan Antonovich admits. - It doesn't look like anything. The thick, tall stems bent at an angle of almost 90 degrees, and then, making a bend, straightened. The result was thousands of equally curved stems, which continued to develop and grow normally. Not a single plant died. But the insects, which used to be here full and full, were not inside the circles. Where did they go? I was in this field the night before. There was nothing of the kind. What happened to the sunflowers, I have no idea. One thing I can say for sure: no physical effort can achieve such an effect.
Ivan Antonovich cut off several amazing stems with his own hands so that the search engines would give them to the scientists in Moscow. And this was done: now the miracle plants are being studied within the walls of the Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences …
