Stickmen are usually not aggressive towards people and are often noticed by accident. Stickmen are careful and shy and it is important for them not to be touched and left alone. When a person experiences the first shock from what he sees, Stickman by that time usually already crawls into the thickets or somewhere else.
Stories about Stickmen have appeared regularly on Internet forums since the 2000s. They are not so much scary as absurd, like the alleged existence of these mysterious monsters.
On the paranormal site Fortean Times, Simon claimed to have seen Stickman back in 1978 in Kent, England, when he was a child.
Another story came from the Listverse website and an eyewitness saw Stickman in 1982 also in England, but in Essex.
