In a seemingly completely harmless frame, you suddenly discover a very ominous detail, which is why an unpleasant chill begins to run down your spine. These are the feelings experienced the other day by one of the users of the popular entertainment site "Reddit". The frightened man claims to have found a real demon in a 25-year-old photograph of his little ones and his sister. Here's what he writes:
If I'm not mistaken, this picture was taken in the summer of 1992. Me and my little sister played on our farm. We dug up the ground and, as you can see, decided to bury me up to my chest for fun. Father was amused by this, and he decided to take pictures of us on the then popular Polaroid camera. No one noticed at that moment anything unusual nearby. All these years, the photo has been in the family archive, and no one has ever seen this strange, to say the least, terrible detail on it. Just now, I was sorting through old photographs and I discovered something terrible in this frame. Take a closer look at the background on the right near the hedge. I've circled this thing in red so you can get a better look. What could it be? I am very scared and do not know what to think. As soon as I saw her, my brain immediately decided: "There was a demon!" I still cannot find any other explanation for what happened. I do not know whether to inform my sister about my find or not. I would not want to frighten her, she already believes in everything supernatural.
Indeed: right under a tree in the background, behind a pile of scrap metal, stands an unnaturally thin and tall human figure. An absolutely black silhouette with a horned head and lowered hands seems to be watching the children at play and the father taking pictures of them. Is the picture really a demon from the underworld? Some of the regulars on Reddit, by the way, suggested that it could be a less scary, but also supernatural entity, namely a shadow man from urban folklore. Well, in the opinion of skeptical commentators, we are talking about a pareidolic illusion. Say, the branches of the tree created a bizarre silhouette from this angle, similar to an ominous horned man. That is why, they say, no one has noticed anything unusual in the picture for so many years.
Or maybe this demon was not in the picture all this time, the mystical Internet users ask themselves? And he appeared only now, to specifically scare, or remind of something … Sister, they say, in any case it is not worth showing the photo. If she is destined to see this demon, then she herself will find him, and then this "accident" will be more difficult to write off on a paraidolic illusion …
