In fact, the materials of the criminal case abound with facts of deliberate concealment of evidence, forgery and even sabotage. I don't think it was the investigators' initiative. They were simply ordered that the truth about the death of tourists would never be revealed. Actually, that's what happened. For 60 long years, their death has become a mystery and legend. But the time has come to reveal this secret, to throw off the veils from it, to reveal the truth, no matter how terrifying it really is.
It is known that the main drama took place at the bottom of the mountainside. The bodies were found near a large cedar, as well as in a shallow stream. What happened there is still controversial today. Tourists, pretty frozen, thrown by a hurricane wind from the mountainside, almost naked, fought desperately for their lives. Someone tried to warm up by the fire, breaking off thick branches from the trees for him. Someone removed things from dead comrades. By the way, this explains the fact that some tourists had almost nothing. Others, on the other hand, were wearing the warmest clothes that had previously belonged to other people. Over the years, it is no longer possible to explain how these things fell into the wrong hands. I only pray that these things were not taken away from anyone. If removed from corpses, then this is normal behavior. It is much worse if they were removed from dying, but still living people. However, this is not about that.
Did the Mansi shamans that they were following the group (and for me this is already obvious) take part in the murder of the group? I don't think they did. But only because they were prevented by the strongest wind and deadly cold that suddenly hit the pass on the night of February 2, 1959. However, the shamans were there, but after the death of the tourists. I am sure that they thought that the spirits of the forest themselves "punished" the strangers who came to the sacred place. Therefore, the shamans performed all the rituals that were laid after the sacrifice. One photo shows a vodka bottle pretty well. Alcoholization is a mandatory element of any pagan sacrifice. On the notorious cedar, about which so much has been written, there is a knife with a wooden handle stuck into the tree trunk. You can see it very well in the photo.
Even more interesting photos from the excavation of the decking. The flooring is a few branches laid over a frozen stream. On them, the Dyatlovites tried unsuccessfully to warm up. Under a thick layer of snow, a shaman's ritual mask lies on the deck. Quite a scary thing for a city man. Made of white cloth and deer hide, she was dressed during a magical ritual. In principle, if you see a shaman in this mask, hear the chanting of ritual prayers and spells, then the nerves may not stand even the strongest people. The fact that this mask is visible in several photographs. Unfortunately, due to the intrigues of various "researchers" doing everything to make the story of the shamans forever forgotten, these photos are no longer in Russia. The second artifact is in the same photo. The picture shows a Mansi amulet tied to a branch. One of those that shamans use when communicating with spirits. There can be no mistake, since this object is also very clearly visible in the photographs.

The Mansi shamans took the most active, most active part in the pursuit of Igor Dyatlov's group. They are also involved in the death of these people.
