Five years ago, my best friend Ivan invited me to take part in a ritual to summon the spirit. Ivan wanted to talk to his uncle, who died in the war in Chechnya. Officially, he is listed as missing, but the matter is clear, most likely, he is dead. Ivan wanted to know the truth and for this he decided to summon the spirit. My friend took the ritual very seriously, for more than a month he studied the relevant literature and talked on the Internet in specialized forums.
And now this day, or rather, night, has come. We gathered at Ivan's house, tuned the TV to an empty wave, lit candles, and my friend began to ask questions, carefully peering into the white ripples of the TV screen. It all ended exactly as I expected - nothing! But Ivan was not going to give up, he recorded everything that happened in the room on video, so that later he could carefully study the recording.
Five days later, frightened and agitated, Vanya ran to my house and asked to stay for a few days. He said that, most likely, he made some mistake during the ritual (I, to be honest, did not delve into what my friend was doing, and did not take it seriously), and now an evil spirit settled in his house. According to a friend, all his home appliances "went crazy", the TV turned on and off randomly, and several times a day they called his mobile from an unknown number, called and kept silent on the receiver. He also said that every night he dreams of a disfigured man, but definitely not an uncle. I had to pretend I believed and sheltered a silly sidekick for a few days.
Ivan spent three days with me. Having completely calmed down, he moved back to his home. And the very next day I learned that 22-year-old Ivan died in his sleep from a heart attack. The police said that when they broke into his apartment, the TV was turned on on an empty wave. But the most interesting thing is the incoming calls to Ivan's mobile, they called him from an unactivated, yet unsold SIM card. Whom did my friend summon and what mistake did he make during the ritual? It seems that Vanya took these questions with him to the grave.
