Anonymous US resident reports. In the 1990s, when he was a child, he lived in northeastern Arizona, 5 miles from the Navajo Indian Reservation in Winslow.

“Talking about Skinwalkers (half-human-half-animal from Native American legends) was a huge part of the culture of the local people. We all took them very seriously and many had personal experiences of meeting them. I, too, was no exception.

One day our family went hiking 50 miles south of Hart Canyon. We spent all day there and this area was very familiar to me, we regularly went there to rest and my parents even allowed me to wander through the woods alone.

I always had a few toy soldiers with me and loved to play with him in the stream, which was about 80 yards from our camp. Apart from us, there were no other vacationers in this place.

And on that day I was playing with the soldiers by the stream and my mother invited me to dinner, and when I had dinner, I went to play somewhere else. Some time later I realized that I had forgotten a couple of soldiers by the stream, and it was already very dark. However, I took a flashlight and went there, I knew where I left them. I got to that place, sat down to pick them up, and at that moment goose bumps ran down my spine.

Remember the moment from the movie "Alien", when the boy first sees an alien coming to him from the side of the field - I had the same feeling of intense fear.

I raised my head and began to drive my flashlight along the other side of the stream, which was about 10 yards (9 meters) from me. And I saw something there, but at first I did not understand what it was. At first I thought it was a deer, but then it moved and became much larger and then I thought it was a bear. However, it was too skinny for a bear and had no hair.

The creature stood vertically behind a tree trunk, and then peeked out from behind it and looked in my direction. I was literally paralyzed from horror. I had read a little about the yeti by that time, but in my area he was not seen. But when I realized that it was not a bear or a deer, I decided that it was a yeti.

This did not last long, since I finally found the strength and I ran to our camp as quickly as I could. I told my parents about the "yeti by the brook", but they wrote it off to my imagination. For the rest of our vacation, I never left the tents.

Two years have passed since this incident, I was in our house, and our two dogs were sitting in the yard as usual. These dogs lived on the street all their lives, they were not allowed into the house. And so that evening they suddenly began to whine loudly with fear and climbed onto the porch. I opened the window to see what was there, and one of the dogs suddenly jumped and climbed into the house through the window. She was so scared of something or someone that for the next three days she flatly refused to leave the house.

This strange creature was captured on video in the Navajo Indian Reservation area in 2017. At first, it looks like a shaggy yeti frozen in stones on all fours, but then it runs along the rocks like a wolf:

Some time passed, I was then 13 years old. Together with other local children, we played with "night games". We didn't do anything special, we just walked the streets, and when the police noticed us, we ran away and hid from them in the alleys.

Then it was in the order of things when in the evenings in the same lanes there were Navajos or Hopi who came from the reservation to the city and got drunk there, and that evening, when I and two of my friends ran away from the police again, I saw such a drunk. He was sitting by the fence.

We ran past him and then hid in a nearby yard. A policeman soon appeared and walked past us. We waited a little, and then went back. But when we reached the fence, where the drunken Indian was sitting, he was no longer there, and in the same place sat … a coyote. And he looked at us very calmly and attentively.

If you are not in the know, coyotes are usually very shy and give up as soon as you step in their direction. But this one sat quietly and he was not afraid of us. We immediately sensed something was wrong and rushed to run away from him. After that I did not go out for a night walk for a whole month.

My last strange experience with such creatures was when I was 15-16 years old. My brother had a friend who lived in the small Starlight Pines community south of Winslow. He us 25 miles to her and one morning my brother and I went to visit her. We drove about 15 miles out of town when we spotted an Indian on the side of the road. It seemed strange to me right away, they usually don't walk such a long distance.

On the surface, the guy looked as usual and was wearing a purple shirt and jeans. We drove past him and reached my brother's friend, spent the whole day there, and then drove home very late at night. And when we passed the place where we saw the Indian in the purple shirt, he was still standing there! I also remember thinking that the dude must be crazy if he stood in one place all day and part of the night. And I also thought, what is he doing there?

But again we decided not to stop near him and drive by, but when we drove past the Indian, something hit or crashed into the back of our car. There was a loud “BAMMM!” Sound. I turned around and my brother began to brake, but then I saw that this Indian was running behind us at high speed!

In a matter of seconds from almost complete braking, my brother picked up a speed of 50-60 mph. But this Indian did not lag behind! He was only a meter away from our car when I shouted in horror to my brother “Drive! Drive! “And my brother reached 80 km per hour. But although the Indian fell behind, he was still running after us, and he was clearly visible. We were terrified.

It was only when we drove about 2 miles that this Indian suddenly disappeared. At home, we told our parents about everything, and the next morning I went to inspect the car to find out what kind of “BOOM!” It was, and saw a dent in the shape of a human hand in the headlight area.

I never went that way on this road again. I don't know what kind of creatures I saw, but I'm sure they were the very same Indian skinwalkers."
