A couple of travelers were surprised and even slightly frightened when they photographed the British tea cafe “The Bridge Tea Rooms” of the 16th century, and later noticed a ghostly face in one of the windows of the institution.
A mysterious incident occurred a few days ago in the English city of Bradford-on-Avon with 34-year-old Simon Phillips and 28-year-old Ellie Vickers. The lovers visited an old teahouse while on vacation, and Simon photographed Ellie in front of the historic building. A couple of days later, the woman was looking at the pictures taken during her vacation and suddenly noticed in one frame an ominous head in the window of the top floor of the building.
The Bridge Tea Rooms, first opened in 1502, is not famous for any ghosts (after all, this is a cafe, not a cemetery), but this does not mean that they cannot be here. Throughout its long history, the institution has changed many owners, and it is possible that the spirit of one of them periodically comes here to this day. Simon believes that a deceased woman from the Victorian era was caught on his camera. Ellie assumes that this is a phantom of a fat man.
Intrigued by their discovery, the couple sent a copy of the photo to the current owners of the tea house, Roy and Alison Hayward. The entrepreneurs who have owned the cafe since 2006 were as surprised and excited as the authors of the picture. 53-year-old Alison immediately went up to the room where the alleged immigrant from the other world appeared, and found nothing there that could create a similar optical illusion from the street.
