What the world will be like in 50 years: a report by scientists
The technological face of the world in 2069 was outlined by famous British futurists from the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Institute of Coding, commissioned by Samsung. The Daily Mail presents 10 of the most notable forecasts from a report prepared by scientists. Here's what they expect to see in 50 years:
1. Underwater roads
Crews, similar to containers, will move inside transparent sealed pipes. Move at high speed. Underwater highways will connect the shores of different countries and will allow you to quickly - in less than an hour - get from one to another. For example, from the UK to Sweden. Or from Russia to Germany.
Submarine highways will save surface space.
2. Underground skyscrapers

Buildings will stretch not up, but down - into the bowels of several hundred meters. This will greatly save space on the surface, and in the event of earthquakes or hurricanes, of which there will be more and more over the years, it will secure living.
Underwater roads may well stretch to underground structures - * earth scrapers *.
3. Homes that cleanse themselves
Automated room cleaning systems will allow you not to bother yourself with brooms, rags and vacuum cleaners. The apartment will be cleaned by itself - in the good sense of the word - according to a predetermined program. Will work it out when the owners are sleeping or have gone to work.
4. Hotels in space
Hotel rooms will appear not only at the Earth - at some orbital "resorts", but also at the Moon. And even on other planets. Some hotels will rotate creating their own gravity.
Hotels will rise to unprecedented heights.
5. Printed human organs
3D printing will become commonplace, and organs made with so-called bioprinters will become common. Replacing worn-out organs with artificial, but living ones will not be a big problem. It is possible that people can be modernized by printing something like that. For example, allowing you to run fast or see in the dark.
6. Inexpensive insect burgers
In order not to starve, people will start eating insects. They will become the main source of protein. Naturally, in some revised form.
Fresh edible insects can also be grown at home - in special devices.
7. Flying buses and taxis
Small aircraft - air taxis and multi-seat - air buses will also appear in abundance. Both those and others will finally solve the problem of traffic jams, as they will move above them.
People will begin to make long-distance transportation in comfortable reusable rockets, which will make it possible to get from Moscow to New York in about 30 minutes.
Flying buses and taxis are likely to be unmanned.
8. Controlling implants and digital assistants
Small sensors will monitor our health and warn of possible problems. There will also be some complex digital systems - a kind of lifelong companions that will be introduced into the human body in order to provide all possible assistance. For example, translate from one language to any other, communicate on social networks anywhere, receive reference information.
9. New sports
Sports will enter another dimension. Spread high. There will be games reminiscent of Quidditch from J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter novels. Young wizards were running around riding brooms, and athletes of the near future would soar on hoverboards - flying boards.
Quidditch will be included in the 2068 Summer Olympics.
10. Interactive films
Viewers will be able to physically participate in the action. The corresponding spectacles and sensations will be provided by glasses and virtual reality suits, which will "deceive" five senses at once.
The predictions are by no means fantastic - the foundations of technological change predicted by the authors of the futuristic report have been laid. Moreover, many have already begun. However, scientists do not guarantee that the future will turn out exactly as they imagine it.
One of the soothsayers, Jacqueline de Rojas has no doubt that “the next 50 years will bring the greatest technological change and innovation we have ever seen in our work and play.” And at the same time he warns: "The digital revolution, like the industrial one that happened 250 years ago, casts doubt on all our assumptions about the future life."
People who managed to get acquainted with the report, in the polls, noted: they say, we do not want all predictions to come true. The most attractive were self-cleaning apartments, implants, health monitoring and flying vehicles. 63 percent of the respondents would like to live to see such a future.
BTW: BAD FORECAST
We may not live up to 2069. Because in 2060 the world will end. Isaac Newton predicted
Sir Isaac Newton was fond of not only physics and mathematics. He was also engaged in alchemy, occultism, astrology, theology. And besides writing his famous laws, he deciphered the Bible. The manuscript with works far from physics is kept in the Jewish National Library of Jerusalem. In it - in this manuscript - the researchers discovered a kind of "Newton's last law." Namely, the prophecy about the end of the world.
Newton calculated the date of the end of the world mathematically, deciphering the Book of the prophet Daniel (Old Testament). The scientist was sure that God chose the prophet Daniel just for the interpretation of the future.
Isaac Newton was not only engaged in physics.
Approaching the result, Newton wrote four and a half thousand pages, which contained 1.3 million words and formulas. The scientist was looking for an algorithm that would allow using the information contained in the Bible to predict future events. Whether he succeeded remains to be seen - the researchers of Newton's work have understood far from the entire manuscript. But the prediction of the end of the world in 2060 was discovered.
In the Book of Daniel, Newton found an indication of the "sinful and unclean" period, which lasted 1260 years. He calculated that he - this period - began in 800 after the birth of Christ. I added 1260 years and got 2060.
In his search for the algorithms encrypted in the Bible, Newton covered thousands of pages.
So what will happen in 41 years? From Newton's manuscript it follows that a world war will begin, then there will be a pestilence. As a result, a significant part of humanity will disappear.
It would be better if the scientist was wrong. I really want to spend at least a week in a space hotel somewhere in the Saturn region.
