Liverpool suburb Kirkby Heather Size got more than just a snapshot of an old building.

According to Politeka, citing Liverpool Echo, 20-year-old Size went to Newsham Hospital to join her friends on a ghost tour.

She took a picture of the building to show her friends what awaits them. And then I noticed in the image a ghostly figure in front of the frontal part. “I couldn't believe it when, looking at the photograph, I saw something running by. I believe in ghosts, but now even more. And I'm really scared,”she told the publication, insisting that the picture is genuine.

The Newsham Hospital building was opened in 1874 and was originally supposed to be an orphanage for the children of sailors. Eighty years later, it was reformatted as a hospital for people suffering from serious mental illness. It was closed in 1992 and now it is used as a tourist attraction - they conduct mystical tours in abandoned corridors filled with old beds, and in the attic, where there are cupboards in which naughty children were closed.
