Whether they will be implemented is not yet known, but many of these projects have already surpassed the wildest predictions of science fiction writers.
Analemma Tower
Perhaps the most incredible project in recent years. An upside-down skyscraper attached to an asteroid orbiting the Earth. A tower that literally hangs from the sky, whose ground floors are in orbit and the roof is on Earth. We wrote about it, and, perhaps, nothing more fantastic architects and engineers have recently offered.
Eco-resort "Nautilus"
Its design is inspired by the Fibonacci spirals. It also includes hydroponic growth technologies and other mechanisms that incorporate natural plant growth into architecture.

Underwater restaurant
Off the coast of Norway, they plan to open an underwater restaurant, which will also house a center for the study of marine life, as ironic as it may sound. The designers say that with their project they pay tribute to the Norwegian coast and the wild fauna of the sea. Construction is scheduled for early 2018.
Big bend
The most unusual skyscraper in the world is planned to be built in New York, and its paradoxical shape in the form of an arch owes it to the high prices for land in the city and the fact that there is very little of it left in the public domain. The base of such a skyscraper will be relatively small, but the building can hold a very large number, while it will not be too high and will not lose stability.
Container houses
The idea of houses constructed from containers gained a lot of popularity in 2017. The house you see below will be built in 2018 in southern California. It is raised above the ground, it is not threatened by floods, and since its elements are facing different directions of the world, it will never suffer from a lack of natural light.
Eco terminal for ferries
They decided to build it in Seoul with the aim of combining innovative architectural design with environmentally friendly energy sources. According to the idea, the terminal buildings should resemble a manta ray, and at the same time all the necessary electricity should be obtained exclusively from solar and wind energy.
Robobridge
What you see below is not a robot, but a folding floating bridge. It was commissioned by the government of Mongolia from designer Margo Krasoevich, and it can fold and change its location, easily meeting the needs of a big city.
Giant sequoia skyscraper
A group of South Korean designers have created a highly unusual concept for eVolo's innovative skyscraper design competition. By design, skyscrapers can be built inside giant existing trees, which symbolizes the peaceful coexistence of man and nature.
It is clear that not all of these projects will be implemented in practice, but it seems that the future of architecture is much more interesting than we think, and in the next ten years, the usual image of cities will radically change.
