Mushroom pickers in the deep forests of Latgale have discovered an unprecedented animal. However, it is worth throwing just a glance at her photographs: it becomes clear that this is a chupacabra, a terrible and terrible monster, which has terrified the entire population of Puerto Rico for years.
Mushroom pickers found a "Latgalian chupacabra" in the forest of the Kraslava region of the Mezhvid volost between the settlements of Meikulanu and Rogukolnu, the TV3 Bez Tabu program reported. Despite the fact that about two weeks have passed since the discovery of the dead carcass (the find was made on September 11), no one was able to identify the dead animal.
At the moment, the zoologists of the Riga Zoo are working on the body of an unknown animal, trying to understand who it is. In turn, the Latvian journalists threw a cry to the public, and they are trying to establish, through a public opinion poll, the "passport" of an unusual newcomer to the lands of Latvia. While most of the country's residents are inclined to two options - some, like us, believe that this is the famous Mexican Chupacabra, others (convinced materialists) insist that this is a dead jackal.

Chupacabra Story - The legend of this mythical creature originated in the 1950s. It all started with the mysterious death of animals in Puerto Rico. The farmers were shocked and frightened by the strange deaths of sheep, goats, chickens and cattle. During the autopsy and examination of the dead animals, two small round wounds from the canine teeth were found on their necks, which had perfectly straight edges. In most cases, the animals turned out to be bloodless. What was most surprising was that no single drop of blood was found at the scene. At first, the authorities assumed that every report of the discovery of the mysterious bloodsuckers was either a hoax or hysteria. But they thought so until the number of applications reached a large number. Once, next to the bloodless corpse of a goat, a hair was found that could not belong to the killed animal. Volos was sent to a Japanese laboratory for examination. After studying it, scientists concluded that the hair belongs to an animal, currently unknown to science. Those events remained unexplained. However, many years later in 1995, all events were repeated. Over the next two years, the number of reports that pointed to a mysterious creature sucking blood from animals increased.
Thanks to the Internet and television in the mid-90s, this legend became widespread, and if the first reports of a bloodsucker came from Puerto Rico, then the following messages were already in Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia, as well as other southern countries. and Central America and the United States.
In the 2000s, a mysterious creature appeared in Ukraine, after which it moved to Russia. All eyewitness accounts are identical. In all cases, the mystical animal sneaks into the village, after which it bleeds the sheep, chickens, after which it silently disappears. Neither bolts, nor guards, nor fighting dogs can stop the goat vampire. A different kind of evidence is given by hunters who all over the world find absolutely identical skeletons, and also meet whole families of mysterious predators living in the forests that people have not yet touched.
