A resident of the Netherlands, Kelly Beckers (Kelly Beckers) spoke about a rare disease, because of which for four and a half years has never eaten. Journalists from the Daily Mail spoke to her.

Beckers suffers from chronic idiopathic intestinal pseudo-obstruction. Due to an illness that developed due to complications at birth, all the functions of the digestive system were completely disrupted. At 21, the Dutch woman is forced to eat only with intravenous fluids, carry a colostomy bag and walk with a tube to clear bile sticking out of her nose.

The girl admitted that she nearly died several times due to complications and catheter infections: “In November, I was on the verge of death. My catheter, located just three centimeters from my heart, has an infection. My parents have already said goodbye to me."

Nevertheless, Beckers tries to live life to the fullest. She claims she doesn't miss food, but she lacks dining out with friends and family as a form of communication. The girl cannot work, but attends schools with lectures about her illness and helps in the nearest sports club.

Beckers recently adopted a therapy dog named Lifke and now lives separately from her parents. The dog should raise the alarm if the girl becomes ill, and also helps her with household chores.
