The 54-year-old pensioner, hoping to cure his sick son, transferred 741 thousand rubles to various bank accounts in Sayansk, Irkutsk region, to the scammers. It was found that the man on TV saw a program about the treatment of diseases by psychics and called the indicated number. IA IrkutskMedia was informed about this in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Irkutsk region.

After the pensioner called the number. Later, an unknown woman called him back, at whose request the man transferred 741 thousand rubles for the son's treatment sessions by phone.

On the same day, in Ust-Ilimsk, a 25-year-old girl lost more than 65 thousand rubles, transferring them to the attackers' account as insurance for the approved loan.

4 thousand rubles were debited from the account of a 26-year-old resident of the village of Mikhailovka, who tried to rent a room through the Avito website.

About 9 thousand rubles were given by a 42-year-old woman living in the village of Irkirei, Osinsky district, who was unknown as interest for the allegedly won car.

“An 82-year-old pensioner from Irkutsk, trying to help her grandson out of trouble, handed over 34 thousand rubles to the scammers,” the department said.

Police officers once again remind citizens that in no case should you tell outsiders the confidential data of your bank cards, as well as trust strangers who appear to be various kinds of healers, psychics or specialists in dispensing people who are in trouble.
