The anticipation of the Apocalypse is now becoming a common state of people living on planet Earth. Everyone sighs with relief when the next forecast of the coming Apocalypse is not justified. This happened in 2000, when everyone was waiting with bated breath for the fulfillment of the biblical prophecy about the end of the world.
Now the theme of the New Apocalypse, which should occur as a result of the collision of the Earth and the Moon, is being heard more and more. Serious scientists and pseudoscientific Internet sources also write about the possibility of such a collision.
Let us remind the reader what the Apocalypse is.
Translated from Greek, this word means "Revelation". The Apocalypse is the name of the prophetic book of the New Testament, written by John the Theologian. The book tells about the coming end of the world and the second coming of Christ. An anxious expectation of disaster emanates from these words. And at the same time, this word conceals the expectation of cleansing from bad things, from shortcomings, from mistakes committed by humanity over the past centuries of dark history.
So, the Moon is approaching the Earth and a collision of these objects is possible.
The moon is not a pebble thrown in space by unknown forces and flying towards the Earth with great speed. This is how asteroids and comets fly.
The moon is a satellite of the Earth and it can approach us only gradually, making one revolution after another.

Consequence one - the paradise life of coastal residents
Approaching the Earth, the Moon will have an increasing impact on the oceans and seas, increasing the power of the ebb and flow. As a result of this impact, the tidal wave will rise higher and higher with each revolution of the moon, and during low tides, the water will recede further and further from the coast, exposing the seabed. Even now, the tidal wave in the northern regions is 10 meters or more, especially in the narrow fjords and skerries of the northern coast of Norway, Alaska and California. People will rejoice at the opportunity to harvest more and more oysters, shellfish and fish from the seabed, as all the inhabitants of the northern coastal regions do. Delightful time. Come to the seabed and collect delicious food - the pride of all the elite restaurants in the world. Paradise opportunities and heavenly times that will last for thousands of years.
However, heavenly times necessarily end with expulsion from heaven. It says so in the Bible.
The second consequence is the Flood
The closer the Moon is to the Earth, the higher the tidal wave. In the distant future, even tsunami waves will seem like small ripples in comparison with the monstrous shaft rolling on the surface of the Earth, like the inevitable knife of a gigantic bulldozer, cutting off everything in its path. All buildings erected by man on the shores of the seas and oceans will be destroyed by such a wave. The height of the tidal wave generated by the action of the moon increases from south to north. Therefore, the most terrible destruction will occur in the northern regions of the globe. There even settlements and cities far from the coast will be swept away by such a wave.
A giant wave will blow everything from the Earth's surface hundreds of kilometers from the coastline. Everyone living on the plains and coastal zones will die; most people on planet earth. The entire material basis of human civilization, which basically arose and developed in the coastal strip of seas and oceans, will perish.
Humanity can avoid such a development of the plot, if in time it takes care of resettlement from the shores of the oceans and plains to the mountainous regions of the Earth.
Only those who live high in the mountains will remain on Earth, waiting for the second stage of the Apocalypse, which will come when … when the Moon collides with the Earth.
The third and final consequence is the Apocalypse
The moon, inevitably approaching the Earth, will collide with it. Perhaps humanity will die by then without surviving the Flood and its dire consequences. It is possible that some of the inhabitants of the Earth will remain on it and be able to observe this grandiose planetary catastrophe.
The moon will touch the Earth and for some time will slide along its surface at a speed of 1 km / s (at such a speed the Moon is now rushing in its orbit around the Earth), cutting off mountains and plains, raising clouds of debris into the sky, cutting off the earth's crust.
Magma will begin pouring out of the earth's crust in unstoppable streams. The moon is a stone body that will not hold on to the remnants of the solid earth's crust, but will gradually sink into magma and sink, flashing at last with its pale, mournful face. The fiery magma of the Earth will engulf the Moon and melt it in its belly of a giant cupola. And only the mysterious metallurgist, who started this cosmic metamorphosis, will look with satisfaction at the results of his fantastic operation called Apocalypse. And the Earth, which has grown fat by the mass of the Moon, will again cool down in the cold Space, covered with a solid crust.
If you are very lucky, another comet will again cover it with its icy tail, the oceans and the atmosphere will again form. Perhaps life will reappear on Earth.
