Scientists report that the reason for the appearance of many hurricanes lies in the heating of tropical ocean water. In the current year, researchers have realized that the intensity of such processes is only increasing, and there is no end in sight.

The rise in temperature on our planet also leads to the melting of glaciers, the death of corals, the ignition of catastrophic forest fires. In this regard, experts from the University of Bedford in England made a loud statement that the time has come for mankind to start aggressive geoengineering, that is, to actively change the climatic conditions of the Earth in order to resist global warming.

According to the British, the first step towards this should be the damping of ultraviolet radiation coming to us from the Sun. To do this, it is necessary to provoke a modest version of a nuclear winter, saturating the upper atmosphere with special aerosols from sulfur dioxide. Sulfur oxide, according to scientists, will reflect a certain amount of sunlight, sending them back into space. This will slow down the heating of the earth's troposphere and save our planet from the monstrous consequences of global climate change.

So far, British specialists are in no hurry to implement this project and disclose in detail the entire technical side of their idea. Nevertheless, their computer simulations show that if the Sun is thus "extinguished", the World Ocean will not only stop overheating, but also cool down a little. This will reduce the number of hurricanes and allow the corals to rebuild their populations. The catastrophic melting of ice will also stop, and the climate on Earth will return to its usual course. Moreover, all this can be canceled at any time and again "turned on" the Sun at full power.

Many scientists around the world are convinced that geoengineering is bound to become an important topic of conversation and debate in this century. On the one hand, humanity is undoubtedly worsening the Earth's climate, and every year it is more and more disastrous for the biological life of the planet. But on the other hand, if you make any inverse changes in the global climate, it is simply impossible to predict their consequences. To “extinguish” the Sun is much more serious and dangerous than turning all Siberian rivers back, which Stalin once dreamed of, so in this case it is necessary to measure not even seven, but seven times a family before cutting “alive”. Is humanity ready for such a fantastic step?..
