It's no secret that maniacs and murderers have been operating in the world at any time. Often they succeeded and got away with it. Such male killers simply shocked the world, forcing many people to live in fear and apprehension. But what is especially surprising is the fact that apart from men there were also women capable of committing serious crimes.

When she was little, doctors diagnosed her - Munchausen's syndrome - a disease when a person deliberately "pretends" to be sick in order to attract more attention to himself. It is possible that it is this disease that can explain the actions of the woman.

In 1897 he got married and gave birth to a daughter. A few years later, a wealthy family hired them to look after a sick grandfather. He passed away in the early twentieth century, and the estate became a retirement home, where Amy and her husband James remained to work.

Soon the family moved to another place, where, by their own efforts, they organized a nursing home. Soon James died, and the house was left to Amy alone.

For several years she managed to send about sixty people to the next world. It turns out that she killed people after she received decent amounts of money in her hands, since, according to her, there is still no point from the old people.

The woman bought a huge amount of poison in the market, saying that she would poison rats. But, unfortunately, the rats remained, and the people died. For her illegal actions the woman received a life sentence.

After some time, her imprisonment was declared insane and was sent to a hospital, where she died in the early sixties of the last century.

Marie Benard

One of the famous female maniacs and serial killers was Marie Benard, nicknamed "The Black Widow of Loudoun." The woman spent her childhood in a poor family, in which there was never enough money. That is why, from an early age, I had to work long and hard to feed my family. Soon Marie gets bored of it all and she gets married. After nine years of marriage, the husband passed away. The woman did not mourn the deceased for a long time, so she immediately found herself a new man, who soon became her husband. He was from a wealthy family, and within a few years the Benar couple were one of the richest families in all of Loudoun. There were no children.

During the investigation, it turned out that Marie's first husband died from an excess of arsenic in his blood. One could say one hundred percent that the beloved wife was the killer. It turns out that she did this in order to take possession of all the property of her husband. Then deaths began to occur one after another. For twenty years, Marie Benard sent to the next world twelve people who, in one way or another, were her relatives. Of course, the motives are clear - get rich quick with a minimum of effort.

Unfortunately, there was not enough evidence to convict the woman. During the trials, she was interrogated in various ways, but each of them did not bear any fruit. As a result, Marie Benard was at large, where she died at the age of 83.

She earned money in a very interesting way. The woman gave advertisements in newspapers, where she offered herself as a nurse with sick old people. Of course, the victims were not ordinary mortals, but wealthy citizens. After the client transferred all the property to Elfrida, she dealt with him. The wills were forged by their own lawyer. She used euglucon mixed with antidepressants. Such a "killer mix" quickly sent people to the next world.

Investigations began when one of the nephews of the deceased client was not included in the will, although his grandfather promised to do so. It was then that the law enforcement officers managed to get on the trail of the woman. At the end of the last millennium, she was sentenced to life in prison. But after a few years, the hearing continued. She, of course, denied her guilt. She died in 2003 from brain cancer.

Irina Gaidamachuk

There are women maniacs and serial killers not only abroad, but also in Russia. A living example of this is Irina Gaidamachuk. The native of the city of Nyagan was born in 1972. Even in her youth, the girl often abused alcoholic beverages. This was the main reason for depriving the eldest daughter of the right to a child. In the late nineties, Gaidamachuk moved to the city of Krasnoufimsk. Here she found herself a groom, from whom she gave birth to another child. They soon got married. The husband did not give money to the woman at all, believing that she would spend everything on alcoholic beverages. It certainly didn't work. She began her criminal activities in the same Krasnoufimsk. The same crimes continued, for example, in Sverdlovsk and other cities. The woman was calculating - with the help of a hammer she killed the victims, then competently covered her tracks.

Initially, another girl was detained, who was not guilty of anything. She even had to take all the blame under pressure from law enforcement agencies, but she was soon released.

Irina Gaidamachuk is considered guilty of seventeen murders. After a forensic psychiatric examination, it turned out that the woman has some deviations in mental health, but she cannot be called completely insane. Irina was sentenced to twenty years in prison for her illegal acts.

The story begins with the unexpected death of her husband. After dinner, which his wife prepared, he felt bad. He later died and it was revealed that the cause of death was a failed liver. Jenny refused to open the body.

About a year later, the woman's two sons die. With the help of such murders, the woman managed to put about thirty thousand dollars in her pocket, which at that time was a fabulous sum. No one could even imagine that the head of the kindergarten was capable of such brutal murders. Jenny's grandson and her eldest son later die.

The family doctor asked law enforcement officers to investigate. As it turned out, Jenny poured a lethal dose of arsenic into the food of the family members, after which death came very quickly.

The woman was sentenced to life in prison, but was released due to the fact that she developed Parkinson's disease. She died in a sanatorium in early 2010.
